Life In Isolation: The Coronavirus... Daniel Edward
Title (Dublin Core)
Life In Isolation: The Coronavirus... Daniel Edward
Description (Dublin Core)
A virtual exhibition by the Evansville Museum of Art, History and Science
I will get this virus. Not if, but when. I don't have the luxury of social distancing. I still have to touch, fight, and detain individuals who aren't always known for good hygiene practice. And they will continue to breath, cough, and yes sometimes, spit on me. Thanks to the panic buying of people who sit in their homes with bleach and a mountain of Clorox wipes and sanitizer, I only have nitrile gloves and a single dust mask to protect myself. And for weeks, only had a single 3oz bottle of sanitizer for myself, my truck and my equipment. With the stay at home order, we've seen a drastic reduction in calls. But while the governor's definition fo essential is laughable, it would seem a good chunk of the community agrees, and go about business as usual. Please do us a favor and stay home. Because we can't.
