University experience during COVID-19

Title (Dublin Core)

University experience during COVID-19

Description (Dublin Core)

I am NUin student at Northeastern University, and I was supposed to spend my first semester in London. Still, due to the current circumstances, I ended up spending my first semester in Boston. At first, I thought it would be challenging for me to study via zoom classrooms, but as the semester progresses, I find it a useful experience. First of all, it was always interesting for me to learn how to study online since it can be a useful skill/experience, especially during the 21st century. I think that the zoom class experience and remote learning experience helps me to adapt to modern communicational technologies and explore new ways of learning. I think it was not a mistake to come to Boston during the COVID-19 outbreak since I am fully engaged in college education, and at the same time, during a free time, I can explore the beautiful city of Boston. So, even though I spend the majority of my time in the hotel studying, I feel integrated into college education, and I found it exciting to explore a new city. I am also excited to come back to normal and find out how the actual college experience feels in contrast to what I have right now.
