Description (Dublin Core)

An item that best represents my quarantine experience would be my Harry Styles ‘Fine Line’ vinyl. Spending my Sophomore year online was filled with many ups and downs. I struggled with adapting to a new learning experience, on top of dealing with mental health issues. Although quarantine was rough to say the least, if there is anything that got me through it, it would be Harry Styles. Listening to his music over the past year has helped me through so much, and him as a person just makes me genuinely happy. I know it is not exactly healthy to base my happiness on one sole person, but he has truly made me happy and got me out of my funk I was in. Now that we are back in person, it has taken me a while to adjust, but I definitely enjoy it more than distance learning. Whenever I feel anxious I just listen to Harry Styles and his music reminds me that everything will be alright. Quarantine has also made me value and appreciate my family even more. The time we were able to spend together I will forever cherish.
