February 2021. One month before the one year mark of the global pandemic that struck us all by surprise, also known as Covid-19. Up until this point, it has been nothing but laying in bed all day and restocking on snacks every passing period. My beloved sport, tennis, has been nothing more than a 6th period cardio workout through zoom. Quarantine was a relaxing period yet I was missing the feeling of in person practices. Luckily, around February, we all got the green light to begin in person practices once again and we were also informed that we were going to have a spring season. It all quite happened pretty fast and I did not ever fully register that I would be able to come back to school for the first time in almost a year to play my sport. It was exciting yet nerve wracking but for the first time this year, everything started to feel normal again.
