The Food Industry Has a Well Known Secret

What sort of object is this: text story, photograph, video, audio interview, screenshot, drawing, meme, etc.?

meme

Tell us a story; share your experience. Describe what the object or story you've uploaded says about the pandemic, and/or why what you've submitted is important to you.

This meme created from a Facebook post has been making the rounds among food industry people. It's a well-known secret that food workers don't take sick days so why would they start now? If you've ever worked in food service you know you don't call in sick even when you violating food safety rules. It's hard to find a job in food service, it's even harder to keep that job, and you can't afford to lose that job.

Use one-word hashtags (separated by commas) to describe your story. For example: Where did it originate? How does this object make you feel? How does this object relate to the pandemic?

#foodservice, #FoodisLife, #sick, #stillworking, #HST580, #ASU

Who originally created this object? (If you created this object, such as photo, then put "self" here.)
