This email was one of the first ones I received from the university when I first began
graduate school. It was sent by the university's President, Tom Mengler. It details the lengths the university is going to in order to protect their students, faculty and other workers. For the first few weeks of the semester there were no reported cases of COVID-19 amongst people at the school. Compared to how other universities are handling the pandemic this shows that St. Mary’s actually cares about it’s students. It made me feel a little safer knowing that the university administration is taking steps to ensure that it’s people are protected.
