A hard procedure to follow has been keeping 6 feet of distance between my friends. It is also kind of hard to breathe in a mask but its worth it to protect those I care about.

The masks are the worst, but the other rules are o.k. I HATE wearing the masks all the time. The weirdest rule is the one that says we can't play wind instruments inside, as the only 2 instruments that would be a hazard would be the clarinets, because they are straight with no curves in the tubing. All the other instruments have areas where all the spit collects that are below the bell (opening) of the instrument. The likelihood of "dangerous" spit coming out is almost 0, especially for bassoon, and most brass instruments. There was one time where I asked the kid next to me to feel the inside of the boot one the long joint side (I play bassoon), and he was hesitant at first, but then he felt it, and THERE WAS NO SPIT! IT WAS NOT WET! The other side, however, is different story, but that is to be expected as all the spit travels through there, and gets stuck at the very bottom of the boot.
Another one I think is absurd is the whole plexiglass-between-the-cashier-and-the-customer-rule, as it is supposed to prevent the transfer of Covid, but the cashier touches everything that the customer is buying. So it is practically useless.

The COVID-19 pandemic has a lot of rules that we have to follow. One of them is to wear masks all the time. Some people whine about wearing them and how they don't work, but those people just look for excuses to complain. Masks help me stay safe and make me feel more comfortable around others. At my school, we also have to take temperature checks every day. My mother checks mine at home, and we have to go in again for school. It normally isn't a big hassle, but it gets annoying when you are just waiting for the people to get the instruments needed to check us. And the lady that helps with the temperature checks is pretty mean. Overall, its not that big of a deal though. We also have to stay six feet apart, but the benches at lunch are not that big, so we end up sitting pretty close. I should probably try to maintain my distance from people more. The rules that we have to follow for COVID-19 aren't that difficult, and you get used to them pretty quickly.

Ever since the strike of Covid-19 we have had to make changes to our everyday lives. Some of these include wearing masks around people, sanitizing yourself and surfaces often, staying 6 feet apart from others, ect. Kids and teens also had to stay home and do school online (which I enjoyed). These procedures might be quite annoying or uncomfortable, but it makes it a lot easier to them when you know you're saving lives. Personally I think that the things that have changed or the things that we have to do are annoying, but i'd rather do that than have people die.

when covid first hit the first rule was to slow down international travel. this didn't work when there was an out break in Washington that spread fast. I didn't really mind this rule I just couldn't travel over summer but then they told people to stay six feet away from each other. this wasn't too bad either just I couldn't hang out with friends indoors and we couldn't go to a public place so we mostly surfed skated and built bike jumps. then they told us to wear masks. to avoid all these rules I never really left my naborhood unless go to my friends house and then we wouldn't go out side there naborhood. the masks where the worst it would make it hard to breath and stuff.

There have been many rules and procedures we have needed to follow during this COVID journey. From wearing masks to staying in our houses, they haven't been the most convenient, but they have been able to keep us safe (for the most part), and that is what counts. Today, I am going to write about my experience when I had COVID. I was the only person in my family who tested positive, and that meant I had to self quarantine. It was one of the worst times of my life, but it made me realize how much I had taken for granted. I was locked in my room for 7 days straight, and I could only come out to go to the bathroom or retrieve my food. It was a painstaking schedule. All I did was wake up, eat, do school, eat, go to bed. I thought it was never going to end, for those 7 days felt like 7 years. It was really weird to have my parents bring food to my room; I was so used to eating at the dining table and recounting my days' stories with my family. It was really hard and I felt very lonely not being able to see my family for that long. When the 7 days were up, I was aloud out of my room, but my parents were still cautious. They made me wear a mask when I wasn't eating and made me kind of social distance. It was maddening that I was finally free, but I was still contained, but I now realize that this was the best thing for their safety. Because of my experience, I have learned that the rules and procedures that are set in place by the government are there for our safety, and I will never take them for granted again.

There are a lot of new Covid rules. One of them that I don't like is that I can't visit with friends. There have been multiple times when I wanted to have a friend over at my house but couldn't because of Covid. I don't really care about the masks except that they ruined the fashion style for the next decade or more. The grade split sucks because most of my friends are in a different grade, but it's not too bad, because one of them got special permission to eat break and lunch with me so we can talk. Social distancing is also annoying but not too big of a problem. I also was doing school online fine. Overall, the Covid procedures are a somewhat minor annoyance.

There were quite a lot of COVID rules you had to follow throughout the pandemic. One of the rules were that you had to stay quarantined. This ruined my social life since I couldn't socialize with many people. Not socializing is actually very bad because once we come back to normal and the pandemic is gone, a lot of people won't remember how to socialize. Another rule was to stay clean and sanitized which I actually like because it decreases the risk of getting COVID. You also had to wear a mask when around other people to also decrease the risk of getting COVID. One of the bigger procedures was to stay 6 feet apart which a lot of people followed by, but others just ignored it. Later on through the pandemic, some of these rules were getting broken and more lenient. I find this good since a lot more people were socializing and having fun instead of sitting in your room all day.

The first really big change that happened was the masks. For the first month or so it was really hard to breath but I have gotten used to it. I also couldn't leave my house for a couple months and the only time i left my house was to go to the grocery store and I couldn't leave the car. I felt very happy to even just go into the car. Staying in the house for that long got kind of boring though.

We have been told to wear masks (which have been proven to work) for almost a year now, yet some people still believe the virus is a hoax and masks are taking away their rights. This is only making things worse. I'm not allowed to see any of my friends or family for all of our health and safety, yet I see kids from my school post pictures of them with big groups of friends and no masks! It saddens me that nobody is truly taking Covid guidelines seriously.

Many rules were created as the pandemic continues. Social distance and wearing masks are some of the rules. I was not used to these rules at first because I don’t usually wear a mask. Especially in the summer, when the day is hot, covering half of your face is not comfortable. A lot of the rules are not pleased to follow, but they are helpful.

Rules that I have had to follow were at school where we had to wear a mask also social distance and only able to walk in a certain direction also when you are sick you have to stay home and wash your hands. My feelings about it all are good I just don't like wearing a mask all day. I also feel like it's a little hard to not give your friends a hug or anybody a high five I feel like that's really the hardest part about this.

On March 10, 2020 it was announced that California is on lock down. Now there was many rules going around but the main one wearing masks and staying at home. At the beginning everything was shut down every restaurant, beach, and business. As time when on people started to get bored. Including me I practically watched every show on Netflix. About four months went by and things started opening up. By then everyone was sick of masks and social distancing. The main thing that opened up were beaches and everyone was excited again. Then they were closed again. And then they were open. It was kind of a big cycle that just went on and on. All the rules were kind of weird and like controlling but then they became normal to me. I can't imagine a life without a mask. In conclusion, I don't necessarily like the rules but they became easy to follow.

During the pandemic, I've seen a lot of people not following the rules. For example, one time I was at trader joes with my mother. We were standing in line and this one lady didn't have a mask on. This was before the mask mandate. She asked one of the crew members if she had to wear a mask. When he said you don't have to, but we greatly encourage you wearing, she put the mask back in her purse and walked into the story. I mean it's fine if she wants to get covid, but now she is putting everyone else in the story, and the employees at risk. Another time, I was hanging out with my friends, we were all wearing masks except this one girl. She didn't even bother to put a mask on. A different time we hung out, she had a mask on because I asked her to wear one, but she kept taking it off and putting it back on. It was very annoying and I was so angry because she doesn't really think covid is real. As for me, I take wearing masks very seriously and I make sure it is always above my nose. I don't mind wearing a mask, it doesn't make a difference. But I missed being at school for so long.

During COVID-19, there are many procedures you have to follow. We had to stay inside our houses. It has been about a year-long process. At first, it was fun adapting to a new lifestyle, but after a while, I wanted to go to places and it was starting to get boring. However, I was able to talk to my friends over the phone and through a chatting application called discord. Another procedure was staying six feet apart. With friends, this was not so bad of a rule, but with family, it is always nice to be able to hug your loved ones. However, we would use air hugs and it was kind of fun. Overall, COVID-19 procedures were fun at the start, but over time, they would get boring and we had to find new ways to get around it.

This past year we have had to follow so many new rules for Covid-19, some of these rules are wearing a mask, social distance, and not being able to go into some places. One time i got in trouble because I was playing basketball in a Gym and we had to wear a mask at all times, but I hate the mask cause I cant breath in it while Im playing so i took it off for less than a minute and one of the employees got mad at me. I don't like any of the rule cause as a kid I don't want to have to do all of these things, I just want to live my life and not lose a whole year of my life.

When Covid struck in the United States on March 14, 2020, I wasn't worried that my school had been shut down. I thought it was a chance to get out and see new things. Boy was I wrong. My mom and dad were extremely nervous, as scientists had found Covid-19 affected the lungs, and I have a massive problem with my lungs, as I only have half of a right lung. I also have type 1 diabetes, so it would be even more of a problem if I got it. The government told everyone to stay home, and go out only for emergencies or supply runs. Stores could only have 20% capacity, so my mom had to wait outside of stores for hours just to get in! They also told us to wear a mask whenever going into public scenarios. Our current president at the time, Donald J Trump, refused to wear a mask, and he tested positive 7 months in to the pandemic. Over the summer, the numbers in our area started to go down, so my mom and dad decided we could resume normal life cautiously. The first time I had gotten out in months was a mountain bike ride around our neighborhood. It was good to get out after months of staying in! I had also noticed a decrease in my health, as I had been sitting inside. for most of the summer and fall, things were good. But then in December, disaster struck even harder. My neighbor got it, and we did not wear a mask at all! Thankfully, we were not in close enough contact for us to contract it. After that, I had become a whole lot more conservative on going out and seeing others. As you can see, Covid has affected me heavily, and I am done with having to wear a mask 24/7 365.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, one of the things that I least enjoyed about it was staying indoors. This was not very fun. One particular time, I asked my dad whether we could go outside to play. He said no, and it was very frustrating at times. Later, I realized that I could just play indoors. This realization made me much less bored, and it helped get through when we couldn't go outside at all.

Much earlier, I rode horses in a place called Spirit, a horseback riding camp where horses would be boarded and ridden. At that place, there were 2 equestrian dressage trainers (there were many more in the facility, but I did not interact with them) called Kim and Madalin. One of the 2 came to the facility with a running cold and slight fever, the EXACT symptoms of COVID-19. Thing is, COVID-19 was not in the media yet. It was only about the start of January. Then, the fever spread like wild fire across the facility, just as infectious as COVID-19. Again, COVID-19 was not in the media yet, and nobody was scared about it, jus mad at Madalin for brining the fever to the facility. Everyone got it, but everyone recovered just fine. Then the lockdowns started to occur around the date listed. Nothing changed much about my life because of it, since most of my life was spent indoors already. The only major thing was the need to do school digitally rather than in person. It was a big change, but not as big as some of the other people who was put into quarantine. This continues for quiet a while...

A large procedures that I had to follow was social distancing and waring a mask. Social distancing was at first very hard for me to follow. I am a very social person and talking to people is what keeps me sane. Having to stay away from people for me was like taking a lollipop from a baby. It was very difficult. A way I found to talk to people and still follow the procedure was doing FaceTime calls. Another procedure that was very tough for me at first was wearing a mask. For the first couple of months It was so irritating to tho point where I would wake up with my face itchy. Eventually though it has became second nature to me. Overall life throws situation at you and it all about how you handle them. I have found the best way for me is to tackle them head first.

I have followed the protocols and restrictions as best I can, but there are always people who think we're not doing enough. One story was when my grandmother was shopping, and when she got out of the store, she took her mask off. Someone saw her with here mask off while she was putting her groceries in her car, and someone doing the same near her saw someone wearing a mask and walking by, and he said rather loudly (so my grandmother could hear him), "Oh good, you're wearing a mask. Some people don't." My grandmother almost walked over to the man and said, "Oh, you mean this mask?" waving her mask around. This is an example of people passively shaming people, and I do not like that.

Once quarantine began, rules and procedures were rather lightly enforced. Masks were worn here and there and social distancing was overrated. Not many people chose to wear masks as they were not required yet. Everyone was aware of COVID lurking around the country, but not many were concerned until cases began rising in local counties. As this happened, many stores and businesses started requiring masks, social distancing, etc. I wasn't a fan of it at all, like most, but I began appreciating it for safety as months past. Thankfully, there has only been a couple people I know that have tested positive. Fortunately, there also has not been any bad encounters with following rules and procedures in public. I am currently so fed up with all these overwhelming, complex rules and quarantining, but I understand they are enforced for health and safety reasons.

When I heard that we had to wear masks and keep 6 feet from each other, I didn't really mind it and thought it was a good procedure. I didn't think anyone would follow the 6 feet apart rule, although they would still wear their mask. About self-quarantining, I also though that it wouldn't have been much of a problem other than having to stay home from school. Even now the masks and social distancing don't bother me at all and I can follow them pretty well. I just think of it as keeping others safe if I dont really care about my own, which I still do though. But, if I dont for whatever reason I'll keep in check by reminding myself to care for others too.

During Covid-19, there were many rules and procedures that people had to go through in their everyday lives. The most important rule, in my opinion, is to wear a mask. Everyone had to wear a mask whenever they went out in public. At work, grocery stores, pet stores, basically everywhere. We didn’t have to wear masks when we were at the beach, the park, and the golf course. But when we were in those places, we must be socially distanced from other people. I remember when my sister came home from going out to buy groceries, she met someone that was refusing to wear a mask. Now, we were about 10 months into the pandemic, so wearing a mask outside is basically a well-known rule. As my sister was standing in line, the lady in front of her was saying she didn’t need to wear a mask. She told everyone in there that it was useless and that no one should need them. My sister just watched on, not wanting to join in the argument.

The day before quarantine, I was with my friend and we had both just gone to a birthday. we knew about the virus but not about social distancing and masks. my dad had called me and told me to stay away from anyone. I was confused on why but when I went to Northern California, I realized that the cases in LA started to spike rapidly. from that moment forward, I wouldn't be seeing anybody for the next five months. when I went up there in November, there were few cases. Maybe 50. so when we went out to get food, groceries, or anything like that, I realized nobody really bothered to wear a mask. of course my family still did but we ended up getting weird looks from other people for wearing one. it was really strange.

I mean, in reality the rules that i had to follow were not that bad. Wear a mask, stay six feet, wash hands, quarantine for two weeks. Those rules are pretty easy to follow. If you want to go somewhere just throw on a mask whenever around or near people. Stay six feet, just maintain six feet from people. (Not that hard). Wash hands, We do this on a daily so its not hard at all. We just need to wash them a little more than we did when Covid wasn't around. Being able to quarantine for two weeks, if you're friends or family or even you have covid, just stay at home for a while. It's not going to hurt you. Overall, rules are easy to follow, you just have to accept them.

Because of Covid, we have to wear a mask if we go anywhere besides our house. I personally do not like wearing a mask at all and I think they are hard to breathe in and very annoying. We also have to social distance from other people at places like the grocery store. That means the stores can only have a certain number of people in them at a time. I think social distancing isn't a bad idea can it help with having germs from one person not spread to another. In the beginning of covid, we had to quarantine which means we couldn't leave the house unless it was necessary like going to the grocery store. I hated quarantining because it was very boring and I wanted to see my friends. Now we don't have to quarantine and we can see people. Also now all retail shops are open were in the beginning only grocery stores were open.

There were a lot of rules and regulations that we had to follow to stop the spread of COVID. Most of them were simple and made sense. Others, didn't... The rules that made sense were simple. Wear a mask; wash your hands often; stay six feet away from others; don't gather in large groups. The rules that had to do with which businesses were allowed to be open, seemed a bit arbitrary... For example, restaurants could open, but bars couldn't unless they served full meals. Retail stores could open with a limited number of customers allowed in at one time, but zoos couldn't. It was perfectly fine for you to wait with 10+ other people outside of a store, but to go to a zoo which was also outdoors apparently meant certain death. The rules that annoyed me the most were the ones regarding school closures. In California, it had been made practically impossible for schools to open. The worst part was that my school was in LA County, by 500 feet! I remember that in April, I went to Carpenteria with my dad and one of his friends. My friend was there too and we were standing about 4 feet apart without masks on. A lifeguard came up to us and started to get kind of mad. The strange thing was that the sign in the parking lot said, "No lifeguard on duty." Overall, the regulations weren't to bad for me, but I was to annoyed with our governor killing small businesses to remember that.

I never liked the idea of wearing masks. Everyone would give you dirty looks if you didn't. I still didn't care, if i was to get covid then so be it! Then eventually it was a mandate. To be honest, The covid virus was the least of my concerns. I really am not worried about the virus, and personally hate all the mandates.

I had stared virtual learning with a good mindset... I would get to be home all day, have no homework, and do whatever I wanted to. I very quickly realized that was not the case, I was occupied with siblings and pets all day, had at least double the work, and spent most of my day on a device. Honestly online school has been horrible. I resorted to social media as my only distraction, I would scroll through TikTok for hours; I related to a lot of creators which brought me some hope that I wasn't the only one with the feeling of drifting away from society, but the second I put my phone down it all came fooding back. Eventually this new lifestyle was normalized and I was numb. If I had to name this chapter of my childhood, it would be loop. Every single day was the exact same pointless routine, I was wasting my life almost. I have learned a lot learning remotely, and am in a way grateful, but also disappointed, yet still very confused about my final take on things. I changed a lot, but I think for the better. Lost and made friendships. Cried and laughed both a great amount of times. Felt nothing. Felt everything.

I woke up on a warm California spring day at 7:30 a.m. to my mother bantering on about something. I got up and walked to my dresser half asleep, ready to collapse. I put on a blue nylon t-shirt with some black shorts and walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth. Then I slowly walked downstairs pretty anxious and excited to start online. My Dad was already downstairs cooking my up some scrambled eggs and toast to start the new day. As usually my sister was complaining about something, I just tuned her out. My dog the lazy thing he is climbed onto the couch and my mom somehow found something to yell at me about. It might of been about getting on early, but I am not quit sure. any way after breakfast I walked into the living room to get on zoom. It was pretty boring trying to sit through math we were talking about pre-algebra, but I managed to get through it. My dad was super load laughing over the phone, I could hear him perfectly through 2 doors and in another room. My mom was on meetings all day and my sister was in the same boat as me. All the while my dog was sleeeping on the couch next to me without a care in the world. My next 2 periods flew by I don't know why because I had English as one of those. And my last period was rocketry which was fun in the fact that I got to build things, but it would of been a lot more fun in person. Overall the day went by pretty fast ending at approximately 2:45 p.m. After school was finished I slipped by with no homework for the day but I would much rather be in person. The rest of the day was fairly normal I turned on the Television to watch my favorite shows until my sister came down and started bossing me around that I need to get off the T.V and do something productive, shesh she is like a mini mom. Anyway I decided to go for a walk with the dog, and just my luck before I could slip out the door she saw me and made me wait 10 whole minutes to slip on a pair of shoes. When she finally got downstairs she snagged the leash from me and we were on our way. My sister is incapable of controlling a small 40 pound dog so you can only imagine how this walk went. I tried to take control of the leash, but she snatched it back and threw a fit, classic. My dog has a habit of peeing on 14 things in a trip so it delayed it even more. When we finally turned the corner to go up our hill it felt like we've been walking forever. We walked in the door took off the dog's collar and sat on the couch. mom walked in the room and asked us how it went, we said it was pretty good. And after that it was pretty much the end of the day we ate dinner sat in front of thee T.V. and then went to bed.

The bats were being experimented on in China and got infected. One naughty bat escaped and started infecting the public. People who were asymptomatic traveled across the world. That is how Americans got Covid. The bat might still be alive today if his virus did not affect himself.

After months and months of online school I developed my daily routines. Roll out of bed, get ready and hop on the zoom call at 8. Take a break, make a snack and get back into class. Online school was difficult because everyday felt the same. Over and over days up in my room finishing assignments, watching a zoom, and talking to teachers. FaceTime and Zoom were the closest possible thing to interacting with friends which posed as a difficult obstacle for everyone. Although we were able to wake up later and not have to wear uniforms, I was never more upset about not going to school. It seemed like it was all bad but there were a few things that especially brought me joy like spending time with family, playing video games with friends, setting up zoom calls on holidays with relatives. It seemed as if the world had shut down for brief period of time. Businesses, airports, restaurants and even some grocery stores were closed. Here we are now slowly returning back to the new normal and adapting to a new way of life. Things were tough but overall I think we came out stronger together than before.

Virtual learning for me was a big struggle for me. I would get headaches every day from looking at the screen. One thing that was good about online school is I can just role out of bed in turn on my computer and go to school on Zoom. A lot of people would cheat so they saw a huge upgrade into they're grade. I would always get yelled at for eating and wearing a hat during class. I would have to do my bed so in the background of my camera on zoom it didn't seam like I was having a terrible time though online school. So I would take all the stuff on my floor and put it under my desk so the camera would not see it. People really never got the hang of having to un mute and how to share your screen on zoom for a while. I did not have fun in online school at all but a lot of my friends liked it so they could cheat.

Learning virtually was not normal but we had to make it the norm. We were used to having everyone at school bunched up with no mask on. Now we were online in the comfort of our own homes looking at a screen with every student. I started to like online school. Siting with no dress code, being able to play video games like Call of Duty and NBA 2k in between classes. Eating whatever whenever we want and we enjoyed it. Until we all changed our minds and went crazy over the fact that everyone wanted to go back. An hour and 30-minute classes sitting in the same place with over amount of work to just take a picture and submit online. We took advantage when we were at school playing basketball at break and going to practice after school. We had to stay at home with nowhere else to go except grocery stores and the McDonalds drive-through. Everything was starting to get boring and we knew we couldn't stand these rules anymore and it was driving us insane.

I would wake up as late as possible. I would usually wake up 10 minutes before my first class. I would throw on some sweat pants and a hoodie, no shirt and not style my hair. I would finish school and take an hour-long nap. On Wednesdays I would wake up at 10 to my work and go to golf.

When COVID 19 started I was a little excited to try out online school because I didn't have to get up early and put on my uniform. My routine while doing school via zoom was to wake up 10 minutes before class to brush my teeth, wash my face, and change which I really enjoyed because I love to sleep in. Since I live so far away it was very convenient to wake up at 7:50 instead of 6:30 and not having to drive for an hour. There is always traffic on the freeway or some kind of accident so I enjoyed being able to do things from home. Fast forward a couple of months the first semester of my 8th-grade year is already over. I am a new kid this year and wasn't really able to socialize with anyone or make many friends. Because of this, I felt that it was going to be harder to make new friends once we get back to in-person school. The days started to feel longer and I started to forget what it felt like to be back on campus and get to hang out and talk with my friends. The breaks we had felt shorter and during class, I was barely able to sit still. August 2020-December 2020 were some of the hardest months I have ever had to go through especially with school. Although we now have to wear masks, I am thrilled that we get to be back on campus and learn in person.

During COVID-19 my school participated in virtual learning. It was not a very great experience considering we had to sit at our computers all day. I became so bored that I started downloading games on my phone and sometimes would beat them before school ended. All I could describe it as would be boring. It was the same thing over and over and it started to feel robotic. It was like an inescapable prison. Day after day of the same thing over and over I just couldn't take it. Eventually I started to realize that the pandemic was becoming more and more political based and I Realized it wouldn't end anytime soon.

My virtual learning experience was not unique, I imagine, consisting of waking up about five minutes before school started, sitting through a class while watching endless hours of youtube, making myself breakfast during my break, and the occasional going to water polo after three more classes. Though I have always thought that school lacked challenge, virtual learning bored me out of my mind, I could not stand it.

During the time in which we had to quarantine at we had to attend classes online. I would wake up, get ready for class in the morning then sit down at my desk and get on zoom. I had to be on my computer for over 6 hours. It was honestly pretty hard for me to stay focused and learn like I would in a classroom. What was nice about online school was that I had a lot more freedom than I would if I was at school. It was a lot harder to stay engaged in class because the abyss of online school and quarantine made everything blend together and made life really gloomy and repetitive. Life was the same every single day, there was nothing unique or exciting about my days. There was really nothing to look forward to.

Virtual Learning was CRAZY. SO many pros and cons. Some pros are that we get to stay home and have our choice of lunch and we also get to be anywhere like on vacation and stuff as long as we had wifi we could do it. Some cons is that its SUPER distracting and soooo many temptations such as going downstairs to eat during class, going on your phone and do other stuff, and also, (the biggest of all) people cheating on quizzes and tests. All you have to do is have the quiz or test on one tab, and the answers on the other. I like in school learning wayyyy better because I get to see friends, get more exercise instead of being cooped up in my room, and be more focused during class. AND THE AMOUNT OF STUDENTS THAT FORGET THAT THEY AREN'T MUTED IS HILARIOUS!!! THEY'D BE WATCHING VIDEOS OR PLAYING MUSIC OR TALKING TO SOMEONE OFF OF MUTE AND THE WHOLE CLASS WOULD HEAR!!!! In some cases, some did get in trouble for what the situation was and what they were playing. Some zoom classes were also getting leaked (I was in one of the leaked zooms) and some random person would take the name of a student and then do something inappropriate and leave right after so we would know who it was. It was obvious a student leaked the zoom call because how would a complete stranger have the same exact name as a student in the same period? Anyways I personally prefer in person learning far more than online.

During Covid-19 our school shut down. We had to stay home, and just worry about how bad this virus could really be. They extended our classes to 90 minutes. This could benefit the teachers by giving them enough time to complete a section we were currently learning. Most students disliked this however since now they have to give their full attention for 90 minutes.Instead of the regular 30-40 minutes, Not having to wear uniform or starting class somewhat later was a benefit for me and others, but it came at a cost.

My routine for my online learning from the corona Virus is was odd at first because we were not in school and fully online. the benefits were I not to spend more time with family but the downside is that we couldn't leave our house but only for groceries and we could not see any friends or go to school.

Remote learning has been actually easy for me. I've found it interesting, and sometimes fun. I like learning from home, but I miss going to school and seeing all of my friends.

My experiences with virtual learning is like a detatched environment from in person school. The benefits are being in the comfort of your own home, being able to concentrate more, and having food/water/bathroom near you. The negative side is that the poor technology can make communication more difficult.

During COVID our school was shut down due to the corona virus. We were sent to online school although we still had the teachers with us on zoom. My routine stayed the same from day to day, wake up, eat breakfast, shower, and open my computer at my desk. It was both beneficial to wake up later in the morning but also there were many obstacles with turning in assignments online rather than paper in person. Usually our lunch was very late and by our schedule lunch period I was very hungry. Another benefit though was that I never had to walk very far or prepare a lunch before school. This was my experience with remote learning during COVID-19

My experiences of learning online have been terrible. In the beginning I didn't try my best and I didn't do my work. I just have so many distractions online at home like my family coming downstairs and being loud because they don't realize I'm still in class. After a while, I started to get into a routine of waking up at 7:30 and going downstairs. Getting my computer ready and setting up my workspace (aka the dining table). Going to class and after school doing my homework. Clearing off the table for dinner and going to bed.

Due to Covid-19, instead of learning in person everyone learned online or distant learning. The day before everything went online, at school we prepared for school online. We prepared Zoom, which is the video call that we used to learn. We would spend a lot of time on Zoom, in order to learn the same as we would in person. At times Zoom became very tiresome. On Zoom during advisory I remember our class talking about how Zoom is tiresome. The main thing online school lacked is social interaction, you could not really talk to friends at school like you normally would. Remote learning did have some positives, though. For example, it was nice to be at home at times rather than at school. All in all I am grateful that we were able to continue learning even through Covid-19.

When the teachers told us we were got going online, I was really surprised. I kept thinking about how this is going to be. I got excited to see how it was going to play out. We had 3 days off including the weekend for the teachers to prepare. That was nice. Online school started. At first I got super used to it. It was so weird waking up and going on a computer. At first I liked it and then finished the year. But when we were told we are starting 8th Grade, I got worried. When we got back into it and I was exhausted and had bad headaches. I stayed strong through the first semester. It was tough and interesting way of learning. It is crazy how so many schools shut down. Online school was an interesting experiment.
