The Last Week

Title (Dublin Core)

The Last Week

Description (Dublin Core)

A personal account.
I am in the last week of classes of my freshman year of college. This has been quite the wild ride. A hurricane struck at the beginning of the year, now I am out of school doing work from home in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. When I pictured my first year of college, this is not what I expected.
While I was in school, I made so many new friends and found my true home. I am sad to be home, like every other student stuck at home now, but I am happy to be safe. I am glad schools across the country acted and sent kids home, so they too could not be infected. It is kind of crazy to think that we are in the middle of something that people will study in future years in history classes. “The Coronavirus outbreak of 2020.”
Due to the plethora of technology at our fingertips, we can communicate with anyone our heart desires. I have been catching up with old friends I have not spoken to in years. It is nice to see familiar faces even though we are not together in person.
