I live with my disabled adult daughter and our personal experience is that as two introverts who like to work on solitary activities, we loved being at home! I was laid off but had good shelter and enough money to get by. This was a rare and unique opportunity to review the past, present, and look to the future. I have kept a daily journal for almost 35 years and now had the time to read them and cull family stories and a paranormal romance and other writings out of them. My daughter and I went through old photos, videos, and letters to organize and digitalization them for family preservation and projects to send to other family members. We have gotten in touch with friends and family we had previously neglected because our schedules were so hectic. We are back to exercising with aerobic YouTube videos and eating healthy on a relaxed scedule. I don’t miss the rat race at all and they will have to drag me out of here kicking and screaming when the stay at home order is lifted! At the same time my greater appreciate all the people in my life as we all have shared in this strange episode of the coronavirus pandemic.
