How has COVID-19 affected your faith or beliefs?

Katie W. 0:04
I, I'm not really sure if it's affected my faith or beliefs, I've definitely been praying a lot more specifically for like family and just protection and things like that. So I can't say it's negatively impacted, but it's probably made me use my faith a little bit more.

Interviewer 0:22
Okay. Question number two, is your religious community still gathering currently? And how has COVID-19 affected your participation in your religious community?

Katie W. 0:35
Well, my main participation was just going to Sunday services for myself, which I can no longer do, because they're not gathering until this lockdown is over. But they still have online. I'm not as disciplined to watch online as I was going somewhere. So I haven't really been tuning in, but they are still recording for everyone to watch online every week.

Interviewer 0:56
Oh, that's awesome. Question number three. Is your religious community supplying or engaged in any kind of community service in an attempt to help alleviate issues caused by the pandemic? And if so, what are those efforts?

Katie W. 1:15
So, Pure Heart is actually doing a lot of things. They have a life bridge Crisis Response volunteer team, and they're able to link up with people to provide emergency services like food and hygiene products, medical consultations, diapers, baby formula household cleaning products and things like that just to make sure that their community has what they need to get through this.

Interviewer 1:38
Oh, well, that is great. Well, thank you so much for joining me, and I look forward to talking to you again.

Katie W. 1:44
Thanks.

Interviewer 1:44
Bye.
