Description (Dublin Core)

“At this point, there's been real no effect on my faith or beliefs. My faith and beliefs are just that, my faith and beliefs. No pandemic, other natural occurrences, or otherwise will affect either.” “Well, since my arrival here in Kentucky quite a few years ago, I really haven't found a church to my liking so I don't really participate in any churches or other religious gatherings. For myself, my mind and my body are my church so no effect at all for myself but from what I do understand though that some churches have been affected as far as not being able to gather and I do understand as well from in the news that some churches are still gathering against the governor's restrictions…”

How has COVID-19 affected your faith or beliefs?

Speaker 2 0:05
At this point, there's been real no effect on my faith or beliefs. My faith and beliefs are just that, my faith and beliefs, no pandemic, other natural occurrences or otherwise will affect either.

Speaker 1 0:20
Okay, question number two: is your religious community still gathering currently? And how has COVID-19 affected your participation in your religious community?

Speaker 2 0:34
Well, since my arrival here in Kentucky quite a few years ago I really haven't found a church to my liking, so I don't really participate in any churches or other religious gatherings. For myself, my mind and my body are my church, so eno-no effect at all for myself. But from what I do understand though that some churches have been affected as far as not being able to gather and I do understand as well from in the news that some churches are still gathering against the governor's restrictions about not gathering in, for their church services like over Easter Sunday.

Speaker 1 1:24
And the last question: is your religious community supplying or engaged any kind of community service in attempt to help alleviate issues caused by the pandemic? If so, what are those efforts?

Speaker 2 1:40
I'm unaware of what any of the community, religious community services are being offered I haven't heard anything throughout the community and since I don't participate in any of the churches or religious activities, I'm not sure at this time.

Speaker 1 1:59
Well, thank you for your answers, and be well

Speaker 2 2:01
Thank you.
