Topic: My Take on This Moment in History #4 (165-200 words)
Nobody really has any idea when the world will open up again or what it will look like when it does. Since it seems like everyone in the US really wants to open up even though the virus is only just starting to go away, it’s possible that in person schools will open again, but it will look extremely different. I’ve heard that desks might have to be 6 feet apart. Maybe we’ll all have to wear uncomfortable masks for the entire school day. Lunch tables definitely weren’t made with social distancing in mind, and we can’t wear masks while we eat, so maybe everyone will go home to eat or we’ll eat at our six feet apart desks. Will people even be okay with going back to school in person here in New Jersey because of how hard we got hit here? If not, will all schooling be online for the foreseeable future? Hopefully this will all be over with by the time I get to go to college. I’m already pretty sick of being stuck inside for months with my mom; I don’t want to spend my entire college doing online learning from home. The future is uncertain.
