The Angsty Bride
Title (Dublin Core)
The Angsty Bride
Description (Dublin Core)
I planned my wedding a year in advance. I am typically an indecisive person but for my 2020 wedding, I thought it would be a good opportunity to change that about myself. That was until COVID-19 happened. Since the start of the pandemic, I have now had to cancel and replan my wedding more than once. While replanning my wedding I also have to plan around the uncertainty of more stay at home orders so there has to be a plan b and a plan c set in place. Essentially, I have had to plan about three weddings thus far that all "may happen." I've gone from a laid back bride to an angsty bride. Unable to make decisions, nervous about my choices, and I live in fear about what the future holds. Will I have a wedding? If I do have a wedding, will it end up in the news because everyone got sick that attended? At this point, any deposits or plans feel like taking bets on a gamble that put my finances and health at risk.
