SB: Today’s date is Sunday, August 2nd 2020 at 3:40 PM PST.
 KB: What is your name, your profession and one thing I should know about you?
 SB: My name is Shawn Burris, my profession is a paralegal and I like hiking.
 KB: Where do you live, and what is it like to live there?
 SB: I live in Lancaster, CA, which is in Los Angeles County in the Southern region of California.
 KB: Who is your family comprised of?
 SB: My fiancé and my children.
 KB: What do you and your family look forward to the most throughout the year?
 SB: Vacations.
 KB: What does normalcy mean to you?
 SB: Spending time with the kids, doing homework, and quality things with the children and the fiancé.
Daily Life
 KB: Tell me about what your daily life has been in the last couple months?
 SB: My daily life has been the same as it was before Covid happened.
 KB: Has there been any change in your daily life because of financial changes? If so what kind of changes?
 SB: I have had no financial hardship due to Covid-19.
 KB: Have you had to stop certain enjoyable parts of your day (i.e. eating nicer meals, renting movies/books/games, ordering products online) because of your current financial situation?
 SB: No.
 KB: What was the most difficult change in your daily routine that you have made in the last few months?
 SB: Homeschooling the children.
Finances
 KB: Have you or your significant other had changes in employment status due to the COVID-19?
 SB: No.
 KB: Have you or your significant other been impacted financially in any way? If so what ways?
 SB: No.
 KB: Have you or your significant other lost investments due to the harsh response of the stock market to the pandemic?
 SB: Some investments have been affected in the stock market.
 KB: Have you or your significant other lost their primary transportation method?
 SB: No.
 KB: Have you or your significant other lost their permanent residence due to this pandemic?
 SB: No.
 KB: Have your friends or family members been impacted financially because of this pandemic?
 SB: Some of my friends have lost their jobs.
Social Life/Entertainment
 KB: Has your social life changed in any way due to the pandemic?
 SB: Yes, my social life has changed due to social distancing.
 KB: Has your means/type of entertainment changed due to the COVID-19 virus? (i.e. stopped travel, stopped eating out, stopped seeing live entertainment)
 SB: Not particularly, maybe a little bit of eating out and hanging out with friends, but not too much.
 KB: How have you seen your friends and family members social lives change?
 SB: Most people, friends and family included, have been staying at home social distancing so there has been a lot less activity amongst friends and family members.
The Future
 KB: Do you think that you and your family will be able to do what you looked forward to the most this year? If not, what is stopping you the most, i.e. health, finances, shutdowns, fear?
 SB: I think the thing that is affecting most people, including my friends and family, is travel restrictions.
 KB: What do you think is the most important element that will bring America back to normalcy? (i.e. schools resume, economy rises, in person jobs resumed, etc.)
 SB: The rising of the economy.
 KB: How long do you think it will take America to come back to some semblance of normalcy?
 SB: I think the beginning of 2021 we will see some semblance of normalcy.
