FH: Hi my name is Fatima Husain and I’m an undergraduate student at ASU enrolled in HST 491, sorry 494. The date is 2/16/2021 and the time is 4:13 pm EST and I’m speaking with-
SH: Susan Hill
FH: Susan Hill, Alright. Okay, So, I want to ask you a question about your pandemic experience, but before I do, I would like to ask for your consent to record this response for the COVID-19 archive. The COVID-19 archive is a digi-, digital archive at ASU that is collecting pandemic experiences. Do I have your consent to record your response and add it to the archive with your name?
SH: Sure.
FH: Okay, Thank you. First, can you tell me your name, age, race and where you live.
SH: My name is Susan Hill, sixty-, sixty actually, I live is Saskatchewan, Canada and I’m White.
FH: Okay, Thank you. now I’d like to ask you a quick question about the pandemic. We’ve experienced a lot of changes in 2020 and many have been negative and disruptive. But perhaps it’s not all bad. What’s one positive thing you’ve experienced during the pandemic?
SH: I joined line an online bible club with my friends, yea and it was pretty-, it was a pretty positive impact on me
FH: Okay
SH: Cuz it helped me get closer to my religion
FH: Okay
SH: And yea, I also like you know got time to-, got time with my family
FH: That’s great, thank you for you time today.
SH: You’re welcome.
