DL: Here we go, Tia.

IP: Okay.

DL: Okay. Hi, my name is Daniel Lopez and I'm an undergraduate student at ASU enrolled in HST 494. The date is February 21, 2021. And the time is 9:09. And I'm speaking with Isabel Peralta. I want to ask you a question about your pandemic experience. But before I do, I would like to ask for your consent to record this response for the COVID-19 archive. COVID-19 archive is a digital archive at ASU that is collecting pandemic experience experiences. Do I have your consent to record your response and add it to the archive with your name?

IP: Yes, he does.

DL: Thank you. First, can you tell me your name, age, race and where you currently live?

IP: My name is Isabel Peralta, I'm 66 years old. I live in El Paso, Texas.

DL: Okay, and now I'd like to ask.

IP: ...and I'm Hispanic.

DL: We've experienced a lot of changes in 2020. And many have been negative and disruptive, but perhaps not all bad. What's one positive thing that you've experienced during the pandemic?

IP: We'll just trying to stay safe. And plus, I already had some pneumonia.

DL: So just being safe. The vaccines that you were telling me about earlier to?

IP: Yes, because I already took my two vaccinations.

DL: Yeah.

IP: And thank you keep my distance from people.

DL: Mm hmm. Okay. That was it. So, thank you, Tia. Thank you for your time.

IP: Okay, thank you.

DL: I appreciate it.

IP: And God bless you.

DL: God bless you. Thank you.

IP: Mm hmm. Good night, bye-bye.

DL: Good night.
