I graduated from high school in Spring 2020, during the height of the pandemic. The first photo is me at my high school graduation. Because of social distancing protocols, our graduation was scheduled for the full day at a football stadium, where students were lined up by last name and called to the stage. Once we received our diplomas, we walked back to our cars, where we had to leave. In all honesty, this was very efficient and I enjoyed this way of graduating. I took an unhappy picture with my "principal" as a cardboard cut out and returned home to celebrate.
The next photo is when I was allowed to return to work. I worked in retail, and we were required to wear masks and gloves while on shift. We had very intense cleaning protocols and closed fitting rooms to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This picture was taken in the employee restroom August 29th, 2020.
The third photo is on my second day of college at Texas A&M University in College Station. This was in Fall 2021, and I stuck out on campus because I was still wearing a mask. Masks at this point were not required on campus anymore, but I did not feel comfortable not wearing one. Living in College Station, it is really hot and humid in August, so this is me hiding in a bathroom so no one would see me sweating through my clothing lol.
