Bruh Momo
The start of Covid really hitting was about February of 2020. We all went in cheerful for the new year but all it brought was plague. Covid only started a little before 2020 I think, my dad, friends, and myself all ended up getting sick around the end of 2019, probably about December or sooner when it was starting to get cold. The first things they did was give me medicine for pink eye, from my eyes being pink and veiny. Besides for that I didn´t really feel bad at all, i just had a cough that would kick in every so often, usually after activities. That all ended about two weeks into taking medicine and nasal drops. -

Christmas
Usually for Christmas, my family and I go on a trip out of country. For example in previous years we went to Japan, Spain, Korea, and Italy. This year we didn't wanna risk getting covid so we made the smart decision to stay home. We didn't really know what to do for a stay at home Christmas because we had never done one. On Christmas eve my mom made an amazing break then for dinner my brother had spent 3 hours making us chilli. The chilli was pretty good. The morning of Christmas quickly arrived. I wasn't expecting to get any gifts since there was nothing I wanted but to my surprise i got many. My brother and sister bought me a new PC! My brother said he was gonna help me build it. After that we had an amazing breakfast. In between we made hot coco then had dinner. To wrap the day up we watched a movie together. Christmas was good. -

Finding Beauty in a COVID World: New York Sunset with a Mask
This image captures a raw New York COVID moment. This is on a roof in Washington Heights with a gorgeous view of the George Washington bridge. We asked a masked stranger to take this photo and immediately sanitized the phone afterwards. -

Political Activism in the Midst of a Pandemic: Fordham Neighborhood Clean-Up
People gather on Fordham Road after the night of the looting to clean up the streets. It was amazing to see how many people were eager to get involved and help to clean up our neighborhood. I arrived at noon to help and there was barely anything left to do. This truly shows how much can be accomplished when everyone comes together and lends a hand.
