Statistics of Covid-19
Currently there are about 25,152,433 confirmed cases of Covid-19. And sadly 419,827 have died due to Covid-19. In California alone there are 3,136,158 cases with 7,937 cases per 100 thousand. There are also a couple new strains of Covid-19 that either spread faster or are more serious. Luckily, there are a few vaccines that are being distributed now. Covid-19 has caused a lot of trouble to many people, and lifestyles have and will change due to Covid-19. -

Symptoms of COVID-19
Having been in a year of the corona virus pandemic actually was very helpful in learning about health and disease although it is a terrible disease. We have seen many symptoms with COVID such as loss of smell and taste as well as other flu symptoms. Fever or chills and coughing or shortness of breath are the most annoying symptoms I have seen. One of my friends had the corona virus and had no symptoms in other words asymptomatic. Fatigue and muscle or body aches are another flu like symptom that is very common. So over all I have learned that through COVID we should learn to stay healthy and clean and wash our hands. -

Symptoms
The symptoms that I heard about very frequently earlier during this pandemic were coughing, shortness of breath, fever and fatigue. These symptoms are all common symptoms of the virus. Other symptoms are headache, sore throat and chills. A lot of symptoms are symptoms that are seen with other sicknesses like influenza. One of the symptoms that is not associated with influenza is loss of taste or smell. One of my cousins experienced mild symptoms of Covid-19 such as sore throat, fever and fatigue. -

My experience with/symptoms of Covid
The symptoms of Covid are very similar to the symptoms of the flu. You usually get a fever, body aches, it is harder to breath, etc. Unlike the flu however Covid makes you lose your sense of taste. Of all the people that I know, only three people I know have gotten the virus one was my history teacher, another was my friend, and the last was my cousin. My friend remained mostly asymptomatic the whole time he was sick. My cousin got pretty sick and had a high fever and had a lot of trouble breathing. Thankfully he recovered and is okay now. -

Some COVID-19 procedures and rules that I have to follow.
Some rules are to wear a mask and stay six feet apart. These are smart rules that are definitely helping. Wearing a face mask is irritating and bothersome because I have to wear it all day at school. But staying six feet apart is easy and not as bad as it seems. Obeying these rules are the only way you can leave your house and go places so I will do so without complaining. -

When I had Covid
In February of last year, I am not sure but I think I got Covid. My whole family ended up getting sick for about 3 days. It was really weird becuase we all felt really bad. I had like a fever and just didn't feel like doing anything. Since I happened to get a week off, I ended up going sking a couple days after, and I felt fine. Overall, it wasn't that bad and at the time we didn't even know that Covid was in the US and just thought it was a bad cold or something. -

How I have been affected by someone I know testing positive for COVID-19.
I haven't had Corona yet, or I don't think I have, but i certainly know people who have gotten it. In the beginning around April of 2020, everything had just shut down. My family had some friends who were exposed, and they all tested positive for COVID-19 right after we saw them. My family was in shock and we were scared. They began to quarantine, and then we had to quarantine as well because we were then exposed. They all got very sick and luckily no body in my family tested positive, but it was a very scary experience. -

Someone testing Positive
One of my friends tested positive for Covid. One day, I was playing video games with my group of friends. The particular friend who had Covid I had not talked to for a while. I playfully yelled his name and asked where he had been. He merely stated that he was asymptomatic and he got Covid a couple months ago. I was quite shocked. I had not heard a word of this before hand so I was not expecting this. He just blew it off and we started playing games. No more talk of the virus happened and no questions were really asked. -

My friend got Covid
I have not been greatly affected by my friend testing positive for Covid 19. My friend had no symptoms of Covid 19 and said it felt like nothing. Nothing really changed because my parents didn't want me really over at my friends house since some of my family are high risk. He said he couldn't taste anything but said the only problem was he couldn't really see us. I still called him once in a while to see how he's doing but right now he doesn't have Covid. -

Rules and Procedures of Covid-19
Ever since the strike of Covid-19 we have had to make changes to our everyday lives. Some of these include wearing masks around people, sanitizing yourself and surfaces often, staying 6 feet apart from others, ect. Kids and teens also had to stay home and do school online (which I enjoyed). These procedures might be quite annoying or uncomfortable, but it makes it a lot easier to them when you know you're saving lives. Personally I think that the things that have changed or the things that we have to do are annoying, but i'd rather do that than have people die. -

Remote School
I am a middle schooler. In the middle of march, online school started because of the pandemic. This was a very significant change compared to normal school. There were some pros and cons to having online. Some advantages were sleeping in. Even though it was only like an extra 30 min to an hour, it was still nice. Another advantage was more free time. All that time spent driving and moving to classes was non-existent. Now for the disadvantages. Many people agree with me that it sucked not seeing any friends. My human interaction was very, very limited. Other than my family and when I went outside toe exercise, I didn't see anyone. Also, wifi can be a serious issue. Any bad internet makes learning incredibly hard. I did still talk to my friends very often on things like discord but it is not the same as seeing them in person. My daily routine was go to school, exercise and play video games. My life did not consist of much more than that till summer. Eventually, I started having my sports practice again, but that was not till after summer, and it was still restricted in many ways. -

Describing experiences while learning virtually.
While learning virtually, there were many good things and some difficult. I was able to wake up just before school started and open my computer. I sat in bed in my pajamas and eating pancakes. But there were always days that my computer didn't turn on or it wouldn't connect to the internet. Even teachers had technical difficulties. Over all it was an experience to remember. -

My Experience with Virtual School
My experience with virtual school was weird at first, but As I did it for longer, I eventually got into a pretty solid routine. I would wake up at 7:30 every day to get ready for school. I would go to school on zoom from 8:00 to 2:45. After that I would do my homework and sports practices. Then I would go to sleep and start the whole routine over again. The hardest part about virtual school for me was that it was hard to pay attention and stay focused throughout the whole class. -

Virtual Learning with Covid
It started in March 18. The death of me. Online school... staring at a computer for 7 hours a day. My eyes hurting after each day. My mind racing at all times on other things. I sat at my desk in my room. I had barely any social interactions with my friends. All I could do was FaceTime or text them. The one nice thing about online school is waking up at 7:50 everyday. I also liked that during my breaks I could just shoot outside on my court at my house. Other than that, I am glad we are back in person school. -

Corona Virus Theory
There is many theories about the Corona Virus and there is many different feelings on the subject. I personally believe it is just being used to control us. I believe this because this virus has over a 99% survival rate and all of the people that are dying from it have already compromised immune systems, meaning they were already ill. It seems as though they want everyone to rely on the government for money because they can not work and that means the government has control over them. Another reason I think the virus is not serious is because of the fact it is flu season and nobody has gotten the flu. I think they are just taking illnesses like the flu and saying its corona because they are trying to scare people with exaggerated numbers. I have also not taken any precautions during this virus and have not gotten sick once. I have also noticed that if this virus was as dangerous as the media says they would definitely not let us out of our house, but instead we are allowed to go on tight planes, busses, and more things because apparently hand sanitizer and a mask can save us from a "deadly" virus. I don't think it is as bad as they make it seem and they are just using it as an excuse to control people and people are letting them. -

Cause of Covid
I think that Covid-19 started in a lab in China. I think that they were trying to make a warefare weapon and during the process, it got on someones clothes or something and was accidentally leaked. Since the virsus is very contagious it didn't take long for lots of people all aroundd the world to get it. However, I don't think that covid is a big deal for most people. Mainly, why it is such a big deal is becuase the people in charge just want power over people and want to control their lives. -

What do I think the cause of the virus Covid-19 is?
There are many different theories and possibilities as to what created this pandemic of Covid-19, and no body has truly figured out how to stop it or what the real cause is. I believe that Coronavirus has something to do with population control. I think that the government created this virus to subtly eliminate some of the population so that there wasn't an overload of humans, but they never had the idea that it was going to be this bad. It became uncontrollable, and has spread all over the world. Everything is shutting down and things are failing, the world is basically falling apart. -

The Cause of Covid
The cause of Covid is currently unknown. The amount of theories is extremely large. Since it started in China, it has to be some issue there. One theory is that it was a biological weapon but I don't think that makes sense. Nothing that is this contagious, to the extent of being a world wide pandemic, would be created. It also would not be released upon the people of their own country. Another theory would be that it is from dirty markets. I personally believe that this is the most likely option. There are filthy markets in China, as well as a massive population so a pandemic starting there makes a lot of sense. It could have originated off of a dead corpse of something like a pig. That makes a lot more sense and many agree with me and this idea. -

What do I think is the cause of the Corona Virus?
Pretty much in this time we know that Covid was started in China. At this time Global tensions are pretty high with the Trump and Biden Administration and voting in America. With the tensions so high you could argue with the Chinese making a deadly virus and sending it to us, I don' believe that as if they did it would most likely be more deadly. I think that they had a problem with some agricultural farming and made a virus that infected a lot of people, them trying to hide it only escalated it into building up into infecting the entire world. Just the amount of things going between china and the world just escalated the cases. These are all just theories, the CDC hasn't created a cause for Covid yet, but I think it will happen sooner than later. Those are my thoughts today about how it was created, but tomorrow might bring new information, we will see. -

Cause of Covid-19
I think that this virus was transmitted from some animal (likely from a bat). It may have come from China and now is causing major xenophobia against Asians which is totally wrong. There are definitely a lot of just plain stupid ideas that some weird people have come up with. But I trust scientists more than some middle-aged conspiracists. It does happen where an animal sickness can transfer to human, even though it's rare. I think when it got transferred, the strain adapted to humans and is now causing all of this. Once in a while, a sickness like this shows up. This may not have been one of the worst, but, that doesn't make the deaths any less valid. -

Why was COVID
The COVID Virus was made by a bat that ate a man. -

Who started it
I actually truly don't know who started it cause I haven't been looking and that much information about Covid. I have been just living the same life but online. I still go to the beach every weekend and still play with my friends. I haven't really been that affected by the virus and that's why I never looked it up. All in all not everyone will be all-knowing about what's going on around them. -

"Explain what you thought (or now think) about who or what is the cause of this current virus?"
In the beginning of this Covid-19 situation I was very scared and nervous about this pandemic. I didn't really know much about it but all I knew was that it came from China and maybe an animal. Whatever caused this virus must have been something with lost of bacteria because so many people have died and gotten sick from it. Now I think it might have been like a bat or even just a virus from another country that later spread and got way worse. I feel that if we were to not have this situation happen in our life we wouldn't have learned all the many things humans have learned from it. Everything happens for a reason and having masks helps with other viruses other then Covid but this virus has been crazy for so long. -

My belief on the cause of the virus
I do not know what causes the COVID-19 virus, but I think that it was was caused by the place in China were they sell the monkeys for food but in a close space, or maybe it was a virus that was made to disrupt countries. -

My COVID-19 Christmas
My 2020 Christmas was different but some things stayed the same. I started out my Christmas break finishing online school for the semester. After I took my finals I started packing my suitcase to go to Colorado. I was born there and I have my whole family there. My mom and I go every year to visit my grandparents on their farm. My sister is in college in Arizona so she meets us in Colorado for Christmas. This year was different because she couldn't come to our grandparents house. She had to work. So on Christmas day we face-timed her to open presents and it was very fun. Another thing that changed this year was was the plane. We flew on United airlines and the plane was only half full. My mom and I wore masks and got our temperature taken before we entered the plane. We stayed in Colorado for a week and it was super cold, but there was no snow. After we flew home to California I spent the rest of my break playing volleyball at the beach and binge watching TV shows. -

Usually on christmas morning, we would all get up around 7 am, But this year, we got up at 10 am. the day went by normally, but the vibe was still off in a way i couldnt figure out. that concludes my christmas -

Christmas in a Pandemic
My Christmas this year was different than the years before. What is usually a day full of family, was a day of no people, distancing, and zoom calls. My family usually has a giant Christmas eve party, but this year some of my family wasn’t even able to gather together. We were still able to have my cousins over, but it wasn’t the big party experience I was hoping for. My cousins also usually spend the night and open presents with us, but this year they had to go home. We ended up having a nice dinner and we even held a zoom meeting to try to connect with other family members who weren’t there...but it just wasn’t the same. It was the first year where it truly didn’t feel like Christmas. -

Lockdown Life
It's thanksgiving in November 2020 for me it's a very casual day during the lockdown. seems like Joe biden won the election, King Von dioed not too long ago, also Kobe, Chadwick Boseman and Pop Smoke died recently. My family doesn't celebrate thanksgiving but this year we decided to go to my uncle's restaurant Novikov Miami but other than that nothing was really that special. Im in miami because my dad came here for his work but my school is online so it wasn’t really a problem and im going back to California soon. I like to go to the gym daily also i play Xbox with my friends almost every day. I play games such as Fight Night Champion, GTA 5, Warzone, UFC 4, Watch Dogs Legion and 2K. -

My COVID-19 Story
During my COVID-19 Thanksgiving, I only gathered with people I have been in touch before. Thanksgiving that day never felt like a normal Thanksgiving, but it felt forced like we were supposed to act normal and there was not a pandemic. The restrictions for covid were not even allowing us to have family over so technically my family. During the day, I had some fun with my cousins(they live across the street) and had the weirdest Thanksgiving dinner. I could barely gather with anyone and it was very quiet-my family has already been around each other so we really had nothing to talk about much. Overall, I am hoping for change and I do hope people stay at home more to get over this pandemic so we can live we did before this whole situation. -

My Thanksgiving Corona virus Story
This year's Thanksgiving was different than most years. My family and I usually spend Thanksgiving in Lake Arrowhead and luckily we were still able to go its year. We also still got to spend thanksgiving with my cousins, aunt, uncle and nana like we usually which was fun. One of the things we love to in Lake Arrowhead is shop in the village but this year some of the stores in the village were going out of business because of the coronavirus. In the other shops that were still open we had to wear masks and there were lines outside of some of them. Another thing that was different was that a lot of our favorite restaurants were closed for seating and instead we had to pick up the food. Our family still had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and we ate turkey and all the normal foods we would usually eat. However, when we went to the local grocery store they were sold out of all of food and the grocery was packed even more than it usually is because people were getting worried about not having another food while were in lockdown.
