The Shanghai Lockdown. Seen from Another Angle
This is a screenshot of an article from globalresearch.ca about looking at the most recent Shanghai Lockdown. Yet, the article does not talk about the Shanghai lockdown until maybe halfway through the article. It goes on a tirade about how the 2002-2004 SARS outbreak went after the "Chinese race" and how it became an early trial for China before COVID. Then the author states that China has "mastered the disease" and managed to reopen its economy by the end of 2020, which leads to the conclusion that China's economic growth hardly suffered during the newest outbreak. The author asserts that China will surpass the U.S. economy in 3-4 years and then launches into a world history lesson about Cold War politics. The author tends to wander in the article, going from pandemic skepticism on vaccines sterilizing women, being lied to the government, or having HIV ingredients. Then somehow, Ukraine has virus labs...I don't know. Somehow, Russia is involved in this article, but I'm not sure why. I don't know how this is supposed to persuade its audience because the author goes all over the place with his points. I suppose skeptics will like the fact that the vaccine is being questioned here? Personally, I don't even understand why skeptics would want to read this because I think they would lose even more brain cells from just trying to read it. I think this article is just a gigantic mess and it makes my brain hurt. I find myself just not understanding a single thing that is being written in this article. I don't understand why anyone would even understand or like this article. It literally makes absolutely no sense and there are even typos in it. The look of this website and article makes me want to run my virus protection at least three times because I feel like they're going to infect my computer with a Trojan horse. -

The life of an ordinary person in the epidemic
It is a warning to help people appreciate life and be in awe of nature once more. This incident changed my perspective on a world that was totally different from what I had expected. For example, tensions between parties, nations, and races, as well as resistance and compromise between humans and power, all motivated me to consider the meaning of survival and fight. -

Pandemic Street Art: Amanda Newman mural of Ai Fen
Artist Amanda Newman created a mural of senior Doctor Ai Fen if the Wuhan Central Hospital. The image is on a pillar of a railway overpass in Urquhart Street, Northcote. Newman chose the doctor as her subject because she was silenced, reprimanded, and accused of spreading rumors during the beginning stages of the COVID-19 outbreak in December 2019. -

The Cause of Covid-19
In January, my parents heard the news about a disease that originated in Wuhan China. The assumption was that the virus Covid-19 was caused by bats. In the food markets in Wuhan, I think since the meat was not healthy and clean, the person who ate it got contaminated. The virus was first discovered when a patient arrived at the hospital with an unknown virus. The doctor that tried to treat the patient is already dead. Many viruses have been caused by sick animals. People could get sick by eating the wrong part of poisonous animals such as pufferfish, so the idea of getting sick because of bats seem reasonable. -

COVID-19 Video: In 60 Seconds, with Explanation and Thoughts
While I enjoyed quarantine, the effect it's having on the economy is quite substantial, and it's important to understand a timeline of this virus spreading through and affecting our world so we can understand just how much of an impact one virus can have. While I don't touch on numbers in the video, it's mainly to give an idea from the average person's point of view. The craziest thing is that it's only one of the millions of viruses that exist in wildlife, and this could happen so many times over, if people still keep up their idiotic behavior towards wildlife. -

Pamphlet blaming the CCP for COVID-19
This is a pamphlet I got in my mailbox from the Global Service Centre for Ending the Chinese Communist Party, inside which describes many of the 'evils' of the CCP including malicious negligence in the spread of COVID-19. It was quite unusual for me to receive this in my mailbox, I'm assuming since it was not a posted letter it was simply dropped off to many houses in my neighbourhood. The writing in it is quite sensationalistic, and was clearly extremely critical of the Chinese Communist Party. A lot of information and misinformation has been spread regarding the origins and handling of COVID-19, and much of it relies on fear and distrust to propagate. -

A Pandemic that got Old Quick
In my opinion, teens and students around the United States were excited to take a one-two week break from school, and experience what it's like learning at home. Many memes and jokes were posted, and at the beginning, they were interpreted as funny. However, as the situation got worse and when we went into full quarantine, the constant jokes and excitement of having a longer spring break started to not be funny anymore. What we thought was ok to laugh about soon became upsetting, especially for people like the class of 2020 who was missing out on Senior year activities and proms, and when people around the world were dying. -

A Collection of Videos of Wuhan's Most Famous Internet Celebrity Curtain
The original first record of the curtain was 02/14/2020, it was actually valentines day. It is a story that I have personally followed up with. I accidentally saw one of the videos when the mystery was not solved, then decided to follow up. The very first video uploaded in the collection was only a short video of a random Wuhan man taking a video of one neighbor's curtain crazily flying outside the opened window. The curtain flew for days and there is no one in the house because it was never held well as how other curtains should be inside the window. For days and weeks, millions and millions of people in DouYin and the real-world worried about the family that should be living in that apartment. They wish and hope they are safe and healthy and prayed for them. Luckily after months, the owner came back safe and sound with his family. They were stuck in another city and could not come back. The Wuhan museum then decided to collect this set of curtains for the memory of fighting this pandemic, that videos of the only small flying curtain made millions and billions of people worried and prayed together for the family. It is important because it's a special memory for all to think about and pray for a set of curtains and the family that owned them. it was worrying but memorable, it draws the whole country's attention with a lonely curtain. It recorded how this pandemic affects people's real life, social media, as well as hearts worrying for families all over the world. -

A Letter from Wuhan (from a child)
The video tells the story of how a Wuhan child thinks about what's going on with the Coronavirus pandemic. His father is a policeman and his mother is a doctor. His grandparents told him there is a monster called Coronavirus and his parents are fighting it. There is so much news about COVID-19, but this video is important because it shows a child's perspective of what his parents are doing and how they are saving other people. -
