How People I Know Testing Positive Has Affected My Life
My grandparents tested positive right after Thanksgiving, but we didn't go up there since they were not feeling well. Other than that, my orthodontist and his wife tested positive, but I haven't had/needed an appointment in quite a while. That is just about it. -

What I think about the rules and procedures I have to follow
The masks are the worst, but the other rules are o.k. I HATE wearing the masks all the time. The weirdest rule is the one that says we can't play wind instruments inside, as the only 2 instruments that would be a hazard would be the clarinets, because they are straight with no curves in the tubing. All the other instruments have areas where all the spit collects that are below the bell (opening) of the instrument. The likelihood of "dangerous" spit coming out is almost 0, especially for bassoon, and most brass instruments. There was one time where I asked the kid next to me to feel the inside of the boot one the long joint side (I play bassoon), and he was hesitant at first, but then he felt it, and THERE WAS NO SPIT! IT WAS NOT WET! The other side, however, is different story, but that is to be expected as all the spit travels through there, and gets stuck at the very bottom of the boot. Another one I think is absurd is the whole plexiglass-between-the-cashier-and-the-customer-rule, as it is supposed to prevent the transfer of Covid, but the cashier touches everything that the customer is buying. So it is practically useless. -

A Description of my Experiences While Learning Virtually
Things started out O.K., but band was a mess, and classes seemed very boring. I usually got up around my usual 6:00 a.m., but I didn't make my lunch as I used to, because I didn't need to. I then would practice piano, and then I would have an hour to do nothing, unless I had Jazz Lab, then it would be more like 30 minutes. School itself wasn't all that different, sine the only thing that changed was that it was a block schedule and that almost everything was online. The homework load decreased significantly, there were almost no group projects. They changed the Wednesday schedule a few times, but I got used to those pretty quickly. After a while, I kind of felt like there was no schedule at all. Once we got to go to campus to do remote learning, things felt more normal which was really nice. -

What I think about who/what caused Covid-19
I think that the cause of covid-19 is that the covid virus mutated in an unexpected way, and people didn't realize that they had it, and brought it to other countries. Then it spread throughout the world, becoming a rather deadly virus, but we don't really know, because the statistics are so skewd. -

My Thanksgiving in Covid
This Thanksgiving was a little weird, because my family was supposed to have Thanksgiving dinner with my grandparents on my mother's side on Wednesday, and then go up to my other grandparents afterwards to have another Thanksgiving dinner with them on Thanksgiving day, but they were not feeling well, so we canceled, and moved the Wednesday dinner to Thursday. My cousin, aunt and uncle (all on my mother's side) usually come, but my aunt and uncle were scared of getting Covid 19, so they did not come. Fast forward to Thanksgiving day, my dad starts preparing the turkey at around 12:00 p.m., and finished it at around 2:00 p.m., so we went to our grandparents' house soon after. My mom, dad, and some others prepared the rest of the food, and while they did that I was tasked with the job of setting the table and putting food in the appropriate spots when said food was finished being made. Then we ate the dinner, and that went normally, with the exception of there being less people. Then we packed up the left over food, said our good-byes and went back home, where we rested for a while, then ate a "dinner" of something-that-is-on-the-tip-of-my-tongue-but-I-can-not-remember while watching something if I remember correctly (It wasn't the Mandalorian®, because the next episode would have come out Friday...). Then we all went to bed and slept.
