Statistics and Final Thoughts of Covid
World Wide there has been 102 million cases of covid. In January 2020 there was about 282 cases. Around May 28 there was about 100,000 new cases worldwide and then around July 20 there was around 300,000 new cases world wide. December 31 there were 700,000 new cases and this month there was over 2 million cases. This virus affected me in that I couldn't see my grandma and I couldn't see my friends. I also couldn't go to school so we have online school and I do not like it at all. -

Rules and Procedures 2020
Some rules and procedures are you wear a mask at all times, stay six feet apart, and stay home. At first I was annoyed with masks because they were uncomfortable but I got used to them. Staying home was fine except I missed my friends. Now we can zoom its not the same as in person but, its still very fun. -

Remote Learning 2020
My experiences of learning online have been terrible. In the beginning I didn't try my best and I didn't do my work. I just have so many distractions online at home like my family coming downstairs and being loud because they don't realize I'm still in class. After a while, I started to get into a routine of waking up at 7:30 and going downstairs. Getting my computer ready and setting up my workspace (aka the dining table). Going to class and after school doing my homework. Clearing off the table for dinner and going to bed. -

Covid 19 How it started.
At first when I heard about covid it was in Asia and my parents didn't know how it started. In January 2020, my parents told my sisters and I about it and how it started in China from bat soup. I thought it wasn't that bad and that it would go away soon. I thought it wouldn't spread to North America. My opinions have changed so much because covid came to North America and numbers are rising. At first I didn't realize it would be such a dangerous disease in a couple months. -

Dewey Christmas 2020
For christmas my sisters and I normally sleep downstairs by the tree then we wake up. After a while we wake up our parents and they get their coffee. We open our stockings first then we open our presents. At around lunch time we get dressed in nice clothes and go to my aunt's and uncle's house. This year was way different. On christmas my sisters and I woke up by the tree and then we woke up my parents after. We opened our stocking mine had pistachios, trail mix, chocolate, earbuds, earrings, an amazon gift card, and cashews. Then we all opened our cards from my grandma. Then we opened our presents. I am not a huge present person but I am so grateful for what I got. I got a comfy Nutella sweatshirt and 2 super cool cookbooks. Then we watched A Christmas Story and Elf. The whole day we read our books that we got and we watched Hallmark movies. For dinner we had tamales and apple cider.
