What is true human nature?
This meme is related to what I observed at the early stage of the pandemic-- everyone rushed into grocery stores, hoarding toilet paper. This phenomenon really shows how human action is likely to be controlled by the fear and uncertainty about the future and can question about the true human nature. -

Rules for you, suggestions for me
A meme referencing either how members of the UCP of Alberta going on vacation during the worst months of the pandemic, or our Premier's vacation during the onslaught of the 4th wave. I guess it's even funnier based on the fact that this can represent multiple instances. -

A Multi-Million Dollar Fake Vaccine Scam
Hundreds, an estimated 600, of fake vaccines were shipped to Hong Kong and internationally by a group led by "Kong". These vaccines consisted of nothing but saline solution or mineral water. They were being sold to medical facilities and other places at inflated prices. Officials in China have made at least 70 arrests in relation to this case with more suspected. It's reported that the group made an estimated profit of 18 million yuan or nearly 3 million U.S. dollars in this scam. -

My Quarantine Experience
During the pandemic, I got really into music and started practicing daily for many hours since it was so enjoyable. It was also convenient since the pandemic has been here for a while, so it passed a lot of time. This experience is important to me because I've become extremely passionate about music, and I really want to dive deep into vocals and be able to sing well. I believe that music is a way to really express myself especially at a time of a pandemic. -

Cottage Political Scandal
This meme makes fun of the cottage scandal that happened at the beginning of the pandemic, where wealthy Canadian political leaders from the Progressive Conservative and Liberal parties supposedly escaped to the solitude of their cottages while Canadians suffered. The New Democratic Party, owing to the austere roots of their political message, avoided criticism. -

Toilet Paper Shortage During Pandemic
While many of us living through the pandemic understand the meaning behind this photo, future generations may not. This photograph was taken by a Walmart employee when his store had received a shipment of toilet paper. During this time of the pandemic, toilet paper was a hot commodity and would not stay stocked on the shelves because so many people were buying it. Although this is not an item that we may think of as essential during a pandemic, toilet paper was difficult to come by and the employees had put this out on the floor as soon as it had come off of the truck. Before they could put the item on the shelves, people had already grabbed it from the pallet. -

Introverts love being indoors
How this simple facial expression illustrates government inaction, is the fact that the state governments have generally done one thing consistently, keep everyone indoors for longer periods of time than originally anticipated, and introverts love this. Not to be bothered by anyone else but themselves, the best part is, the duration of said quarantine keeps increasing, from a few weeks, then a month, then multiple months, half a year, nearly hitting nine months so far. Now due to the fact that the United States is such a large country featuring different cultures and conditions, very little federal law has been made in response to the virus. In fact some states, such as California, took a very cautious route of keeping everyone indoors for longer and longer periods of time. In contrast to other states, such as Wyoming. That state never went into a total lockdown, they only limited gatherings of 10 people at a time. Then loosened to 25, and now lifted the restriction at all. With only 760 positive cases, in a state filled with thousands of people. By leaving the state governments to decide on their restrictions was the best course of action, since there is no, “One size fits all” solution for each state. By having the federal government exercise inaction and allowing the states to work on their solutions could have potentially saved the economy from entering an even worse state or spiked the positive cases to an even higher extent. I Don't Want To Stay Home
I never really went out and did anything before the pandemic hit, but now that I have no choice whether or not I go out or stay home, I hate it. I feel imprisoned. #REL101 -

Rona Fever
My name is Alexis and I dont really have a crazy life changing rona story. We got to spend more time together as a family and explore Ohio but my story is pretty much the same as everyone else's who is taking rona "seriously." we stay to our small family and friends, look at everyone who coughs like their satan and forget our mask every single time before leaving the house. I will be taking ALL of my classes from home due to medical reasons and I also have a 11-month, soon to be 1 year old roaming the house. Wish me luck! I wish my fellow classmates luck as well and lets have a dope rona themed semester!
