COVID-19 Testing
This is an Instagram post by medrite_springfieldnj. This is a PSA welcoming people to get free COVID testing. It says that no appointments necessary and walk-ins are welcome. Since the start of the pandemic, rapid testing and PCR tests have become more available and free of charge in many places. The reason many of these are free is due to state and federal governments subsidizing the costs of the tests, in addition to people volunteering to help them get done. -

A New Part of Our Weekly Schedule
This is a screenshot of the confirmation email for the scheduling of my COVID-19 test at Northeastern University on December 2, 2020. When applying to colleges in late fall of 2019, I would have never thought that I would be getting COVID-19 tests every three days and that it would be part of my weekly schedule in college. Northeastern University's motto throughout this pandemic has been "protect the pack." If everyone does their part by getting tested every three days, wearing masks at all times, and practicing six feet social distancing, we will get through this and remain on campus for the entirety of the semester. At first it was a little odd and inconvenient having to get tested so often. However, after the first month it was completely normal. It is something that I can do to make sure that my campus is healthy and to protect the fellow student at my university. -

Notre Dame campus testing meme
Notre Dame proudly declared months ago, that opening up campus was the right thing to do and "worth the risk." When campus opened, one of my previous advisors posted this meme inferring that the university is not widely testing, so COVID-19 cases are low. This was, of course, before there was a widespread outbreak and the U decided to force all students to stay in their dorms and learn virtually. -

If you protested, get tested
For those who protested the worry now is that they may have Covid-19. This screenshot was taken from the BLM facebook page. The poster is urging people to please get tested for Covid if they have been involved in the protests. -
