My Covid-19 Reflection
I caught COVID-19 in January 2021 after being around a family member who was positive. The trail of transmission could’ve been my aunt to my cousins to my mother then to me and my brother but it is still unclear. I firstly got a headache one night then went to bed. I woke and felt my throat feeling tight and dry and had a very bad headache, with congestion, fever and body aches/pain all over. I did not want to eat, just wanted to stay in bed and sleep. It was very difficult because it was also my brother and mother who were sick with the virus as well. I tried to make as many herbal remedies as possible for me and my family. I made teas that helped expel mucus from the lungs and throat as well as garlic, honey, elderberry, zinc and vitamin C, B-12 & D. The first two days that I was sick, my fever was over 100 degrees and I had to take Ibuprofen. To help with my body pains I tried to stay out of the bed and keep my body moving. I lost a lot of weight from not eating as much and my body working hard and using energy to recover. What was very interesting about this experience was that I would feel empty even after I ate food. This strange feeling lasted few days after my COVID symptoms were over. It was discouraging because I got my regular appetite back and could not smell or taste at 100%. Everything tasted very plain no matter the amount of flavor. During this experience I was not very worried. I just knew I would get better quickly and remained positive. -

Symptoms of Covid-19
Throughout 2020 there has been many different symptoms of Coronavirus. The main ones are fever, sore throat, coughing. I had a personal experience with one of my family members getting the virus. It was my great grandma. My great grandma was my biggest hero. She went through many obstacles in her life including; World War 2, she was a model for Norway, and she even beat a pandemic. On November 4 2020 my family and i found out my great grandma was diagnosed with Coronavirus. Now she had many health issues and we all knew the virus would not help that. On November 8th she tested negative. We were all very happy she made it through. The next day she was not doing well and she passed away. She was surrounded by family on zoom to talk to her and I will never forget how amazing she was. -

What happens when the virus isn't a mystery anymore.
Several months into Covid and the virus was still really a mystery to me. I had heard stories and new the facts about Covid, but I hadn't experienced it or knew anyone who had. However, that changed when someone I knew had tested positive for covid. During a school activity, I had been right next to them, I could have got Covid as well! However, I didn't show any symptoms and was fine even after a few weeks. Even though I had to quartine for a while I was fine. However, it showed me that Covid was no joke and I became more aware of the virus and really how quickly it can spread. -

Signs of Covid
When I first learned about the symptoms of COVID, I didn't really understand what the concern was about. People with COVID would experience fever, aches, chills, loss of taste, soar throat, and sometimes nausea. I just sounded like a flu to me. We don't wear lock everything down for the flu every year, so why should we do all this for COVID? Some time later, I learned that COVID has additional effects on the elderly and people with underlying health conditions. People in those categories would often develop a respiratory tract infection, which can be deadly. On the opposite side of things, most young and healthy people experience little to no symptoms at all. We've been living with COVID for almost a year now, and I've only known a few people who have gotten it. I can't be sure that I've gotten it, but what I do know is that the changes that came with COVID have impacted my life greatly. Hopefully it will all be over soon. -

Symptoms of Covid-19
Some symptoms of Covid-19 that I know of are a fever, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, fatigue, vomiting, etc. I know multiple people that has contracted Covid-19 in my life such as my uncle, my aunt, and my cousins. I was shocked that they actually got Covid-19, and even now they are still recovering. Also, my history teacher tested positive for Covid-19 a couple days ago. He said that he and his family are feeling better. I am very glad that most people who get Covid-19 recover fully. Overall, I am really afraid for my parents, my grandparents, and my family. Covid-19 is spreading quickly, but I am very thankful that the people in my family who tested positive, are now feeling better. I hope more people will recover from this virus and be stronger from it too! -

Covid-19 from what I have heard
My best friend's family got covid and they told me that it was extremely exaggerated. The mother of the family had it the worst. She said she had to stay in bed for 3 days because of the body aches she had. My friend did not have any symptoms and thank goodness for that. Her little sister had a stomach ake and her head hurt for 2 days. The father had a headache for a few weeks, but he said that it is was bearable. -

Symptoms of Covid-19
My neighbor got Covid last month and he was tired and in bed for a couple of days. Also, he did not feel 100%. When he was not sick anymore he looked great and you could not tell he had Covid. I felt sad when my neighbor got Covid but I was sure he would recover fine. it taught me to be more cautious to not get the virus too. -

Covid symptoms
Neither me or my family has gotten COVID but two of my closest friends got it along with their family. One of the families didn't feel any symptoms but had to get tested for sports. When it came back positive they quarantined but only two of them felt sick. They described it as what a cold feels like, "just a little out of it". The other family I know actually felt very sick. When the parents felt sick they got tested and where posited but only 1/4 kids were positive too. Their symptoms were head aches, fever, and stomach aches. Loosing smell and taste is very common but I don't know any one who dealt with that. I know a few people who thought they had it, tested and came back negative. After going to the doctors it turned out to be the flu. I got tested for sports over the summer despite feeling normal (everyone who trained had to do it) and it came back negative it was rather uncomfortable but not painful. I wasn't very nervous I was positive but I was nervous the test would hurt. I know a few people who said they wouldn't be surprised if they had it and probably did at one point but never tested to confirm or deny their theory. Even though its very well possible. -

Covid Systems
When Covid started I didn't know much about it. All I knew was it was like another flu and it was another virus. After a few months of Covid, I started to have friends and family who got it. Some of the symptoms my aunt and her sister had was a loss of smell and taste and they had fevers and were kind of fatigued. My old basketball coach got it and he had the same symptoms. Many many people have got it all over the world and I'm glad that I only know a few people who have it, and are fortunate that most of my friends and family are healthy. -

CoviD symptoms
It was a couple weeks after the New Year. My coach had a fever and felt achey. He said maybe it was the flu, but he got tested for COVID. He realized that he tested positive. He had a mild cough, but couldn't sleep at night. Also, he had to quarantine for 2 weeks so I couldn't train or play basketball with him. My uncle also got COVID but his case was worse. He couldn't breathe at all and had to go to the hospital. He was there for around 5 days, and actually caught pneumonia from it. Eventually he recovered, but it was a crazy week. All in all, these are some of the symptoms that I have noticed in people. -

Symptoms of COVID
Many people who have had COVID have suffered from terrible symptoms ranging from fevers to dry coughs to headaches. When I had COVID, I had very mild symptoms, and I feel very lucky for that. The most I suffered from was a light headache and minor loss of smell, and that lasted only a few days in itself. My aunt on the other hand suffered from horrible symptoms. She had a fever 24 hours a day and couldn't even get out of bed; that's how sick she was. She got the worst end of the bargain. My dad, like me, had mild symptoms. Like me, his sense of smell was gone for only a little bit, but he had a horrible dry cough and a scratchy throat. Now, this may be because they are way older than me, but I still feel extremely lucky that my health didn't diminish. A lot of people have had horrible experiences with COVID, resulting in awful, long sickness, or even death, and I think that my experience with COVID was so much better. My heart goes out to those who are still suffering from this plague, and I recognize how fortunate I was to have had such little symptoms. -

Covid Symptoms
I do not know anyone that has COVID or that has gotten COVID. I know some symptoms of COVID which are chills, cough, difficulty breathing, muscle aches, and sore throat. There are many more symptoms but these were the mains ones that I know of. If I were to know someone that would have COVID, then I know that I would have to social distance from them for 2-14 days. I would have to talk with them through online devices which would not be as much fun than to socialize with them in life. -

covid 19 symptoms
Some covid symptoms that i can think off are headaches and a fever. I also heard you get congested. I personally haven’t had covid but some of my friends and sister did. There symptoms and experience wasn’t too bad according to them but i know for elders and babies it can be fatal and very dangerous. That’s why it’s always important to make sure we stay safe about this virus and make sure to follow the right precautions just to make sure we are all safe. -

Symptoms
We think that my brother caught COVID. It was back in January or February of 2020. He was at USC which has a lot of students from around the world who went travelling for Christmas and returned to school afterwards. Because my brother was in dorms and was so close to other people, his exposure was high and he had really bad symptoms. We first thought it was just the flu, but it lasted for a month. He was nauseous and his appetite was ruined for a while after. The campus doctors at USC diagnosed it as 'an upper respiratory disease' which is exactly what COVID is. -

Symptoms
I kept in contact with my old school friends, and we always play video games and draw comics together. On January 5th, they asked, like usual, whether we have time to go to the park together. A girl name Siren said she couldn’t come because she got COVID. She took one week to recover; she told us that she was constantly coughing and uncomfortable to breathe. We just face-timed Siren on Tuesday and glad saw that she’s a lot better. -

The Symptoms
I didn't know of many Symptoms of Covid in the beginning. Of Course, no one did! But, my dad and I both came down sick badly after coming back from Mammoth. I had a horrible headache, Fever, Stomachache, and trouble breathing. I think I had Covid 19, but I didn't infect anyone because of the government's rules to stay home! I then further learned that Covid symptoms are Loss of taste, smell, runny nose, fever, cough, headache, stomachache, and trouble breathing. -

Covid-19 Symptoms
One of my friends I know got covid. He lives and London and got it from his brother. His brother was coming home from university and got it for the 2nd time and brought it home. His brother spread it to his dad and him, but not his mom or older brother. He wasn't sick and was A-Symptomatic. He recovered quickly and still has the antibodies. Another friend of mine got covid, Anna. She was very sick and had a fever, loss of smell and taste, and shortness of breath. She got better after 2-3 weeks, but she still can't smell or taste anything after 6 months. -

covid symptoms
One of my friends mom got Covid and she got very bad headaches and she couldn't taste anything. She also had to quarantine away from her family. Since she could taste anything would give her foods and spices that are very gross such as ginger with mayo and a blended up pizza and they had her eat it. That was one thing that happen to her but other than that she only got very bad headaches. -

COVID-19 Possible Symptoms
[REDACTED] Covid-19 has been a thing for quite a while now, and the vaccines for he virus had come out. On Thursday, when my _________ teacher, ______________, did his daily COVID-19 test, he came up negative for COVID-19, but on Friday, he came up positive, making anyone who was in his class on Friday need to stay at their homes for a week and a half. On the Zoom Room that he used to come into the class without actually being there, he discussed he had a light fever, and he coughed excessively. It was nothing bad in his case, and he will be able to survive it just fine, despite his age. -

Symptoms of COVID-19
When you are given COVID-19, there are many symptoms you can have. Such of these are fevers, coughing, difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell, etc. They are very horrible symptoms. My cousin and my teacher have both gotten COVID-19 and shown these symptoms. They are recovering and are good right now. However, we don't know the long term effects, and I hope they stay well for a long time. -

COVID-19
One of my best friends got COVID-19, and he told me he coughed a lot and actually got bloody noses a lot as well, which was rare. He had to be quarantined for 14 days after he recovered. Thankfully, he didn't die and I am really happy. Additionally, he told me that he got it from family members, so that made me think that I should also social distance myself from my own relatives. Because of my friend, I learned a lot about COVID. -

Coronavirus in My Community
Fortunately, not very many people I know have gotten COVID-19. Maybe two or three people I know, at most, have tested positive since quarantine started. For my mom's birthday in the beginning of January, my parents decided to do a wine tasting event at our house. There was a moderate amount of people there, about twenty I'd say. My friend's parents were there and had just gotten back from visiting family in Ohio. My parents were sure to warn everyone invited that they may have been in contact with the virus during their traveling, but had not tested positive, yet. Unfortunately, a couple days after the party, almost their whole family had tested positive for COVID-19. Everyone that attended the party was on the lookout for potential symptoms afterward, as they have been in contact with the couple who tested positive. This couple had very minor symptoms and never felt severely unwell during the infection. Most people my family, friends, or family friends know that have gotten COVID have never experienced severe symptoms, but it's possible for them to become severe. Symptoms can consist of a fever or chills, coughing, shortness of breath/trouble breathing, fatigue, body aches, loss of taste/smell, sore throat, sinus congestion, nausea or vomiting, and/or diarrhea. I am thankful that my family and I have never gotten COVID and few people we know have.
