LockDown
So this was the beginning of lockdown for covid-19 when it first started to get out of hand, I was trying to start my first year at my new college DePaul University. Yet it was going to be online for the first year and that is when it started to get rough from all the work I had to get done with little to no help at all from professors. They weren't opposed to helping it was just the fact that we could only find them in office hours and after class online and most of the times it was software problems that would take so long to be fixed to where it would take almost a couple of weeks to fix. When if it wasn't for covid I would be able to go in and fix it asap. It's just that the reason for this is because Covid can really affect ones learning progress and if it's something tech related it really can cause a delay for many not just students but office workers and professors etc. -

How the Pandemic Affected Me
It's about the Pandemic disrupting my plans for graduating from college with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance. Being a clarinet player, I took a year off since the pandemic prevented us, musicians, from collaborating live with each other in person. -

Growth Through the Pandemic
The Coronavirus has affected everyone's life in many different ways. Some good and many bad. With my life, I can honestly say that the pandemic has been a blessing to me in many different ways. Prior to the pandemic academics has been not a priority of mine. When the virus hit in March of 2020 everyone was forced to stay home inside and find things to do. Some people binged watched netflix for hours on end, other picked up a book and read it. I decided to put 100% of my effort into studying and getting good grades. At this time I was studying at Grand Rapids Community College taking some of my general education credits. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my future career, where I wanted to transfer to to obtain my four-year degree. During Covid, I managed to get on the dean's list at Grand Rapids Community College and I got accepted into Depaul University where I am currently studying Supply Chain Management with an internship lined up for this upcoming summer of 2021. The Pandemic has been a blessing to me where I have found out what I want to do with my future career, but most importantly the pandemic has taught me the benefits of education and learning to love how to learn. -

"Wash Your Hands and Don't Be A Racist"
This photograph of this cross stitch sums up the stigamized racism provoked by COVID-19. The outbreak has already happened and if it could have it been prevented or not, it is pointless at this point to put blame on anyone. We just have to keep moving forward.
