The Pascua Yaqui Tribal Council has declared a tribal emergency and passed a resolution to create an Incident Command System (ICS), comprised of representatives from police, fire, health, IT, and communications. The ICS and has been authorized by the tribal council to communicate directly with the community about information regarding Covid-19. It is a way to funnel information through "a central source" so that it is accurate and up-to-date. #IndigenousStories
