People in counties backed by Trump were twice as likely to die from COVID: Study
This is an Instagram post by coach.fun.2. The study is not linked in the description, but I did find the article the title is referencing. The story come from the Huffington Post. It says that political affiliation is linked to vaccination rates, which some claim are what is making the difference between living and dying from COVID. Wealth and access to certain care are also taken into account. The study was from Brown and the study claims that states that went heavily for Trump had more cases of COVID deaths. -

Virginia's Law Barring Mask Mandates Does Not Apply to 12 Children with Disabilities
A news article from NPR talks about the parents of 12 children that challenged the newly signed law by Governor Glenn Youngkin to halt the enforcement of that law because it violated the children's rights under the federal American with Disabilities Act. This law would only give parents the right to choose for their own children. The group of parents have kids with health conditions that range from asthma to cystic fibrosis, which put them at heightened risk for COVID-19. What about other kids that have health conditions that make them a heightened risk for COVID whose parents didn't say their federal rights were violated? -

Residents at a Colorado assisted living faclity got their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. They are now allowed to have gatherings as long as they continue social distance and wear a mask. Their family can also visit them once again as long as certain safety measures are followed. -

Mass Religious Gathering In Pakistan Leads To Fresh Concerns Over COVID-19 Spread
The diplomat Ahmed Rabi said there was supposed to be a two-day gathering on march 12th in eastern Pakistan. The gathering of the Tablighi Jamaat which is a Muslim missionary group brought together thousands of Muslim preachers from 80 countries and they have raised concerns about the spread of the virus. One member Arif Rana said the gathering was canceled on March 12th because of rain but the Punjab chief master said it ended because of the coronavirus fears.
