COVID Forever (Unfortunately)
The image describes the cyclical nature that came with the Coronavirus due to various variants developing. This repetition can lead to people living stagnant and restricted lives. Such occurrences may result in feelings of hopelessness and futility. Sadly, one person alone cannot stop the spread of the virus, yet individuals continue to suffer. -

Russian invasion of Ukraine Ruins Everything
I (and many others) am feeling like disasters just keep compounding one another since March 2020. I know a lot of folks around my were anticipating a “return to normal” this summer but it feels really difficult to just celebrate “normal life” when innocent Ukrainians are suffering and the whole world is watching. -

The Reality Of Teaching During COVID
No teacher was prepared for a transition to distance learning during a global pandemic. Nevertheless, teachers all over the world had to alter courses at the end of last school year, and the beginning of this school year. With very little time, adjustments were made to introduce distance learning. This allowed for teachers to keep teaching and students to keep learning. Although a plan for distance learning was created, no one knew what they were walking into. This has left teachers, parents, and students to pick up the pieces and learn as they go. In frustration many blame teachers for any disorganization or problems that have occurred throughout distance learning, but in all realness, they too are left to take this new style of learning day by day. -

(HIST30060) 2020 in a nutshell courtesy of The Office
(HIST30060) This video was posted about the time in March when most of the world started going into lockdown and Covid-19 cases were increasingly rapidly everyday, particularly in Europe at that time. At uni, we'd just started online classes as Victoria went into lockdown. The video is great at demonstrating the chaos that existed as the situation became a global pandemic, when nobody knew what was going to happen the next day or really how to deal with what was occurring. -

2020-05
I am running away from my responsibilities. And it feels good.
Switching from in person school to distance learning has been a huge adjustment for all students. Many people have categorized the different types of students by the term they use to describe COVID-19/coronavirus. Turning our attention away from the struggles of adjusting to distance learning towards humor helps us cope with the loss of our sports seasons and the loss of normalcy in many of our lives. -

Reality of Coronavirus
Coronavirus has affected everyone in some type of way. This meme accurately represents how many people feel about this year so far, and how it has been a not so great start to a new decade. Covid-19 has taken away many opportunities and places limitations on what we can and cannot do. Personally, coronavirus has prevented me from traveling this year, as I have canceled multiple trips to abide by CDC guidelines and safety precautions. While I was looking forward to traveling this year, I know it’s important to stay inside to keep myself and others safe during this time. -

Week 3 of quarantine
April 20, 2020 Day 15 That day I could not sleep, I was trying to sleep but every time I closed my eyes I just wanted to open them up again, so I started to watch The Office and then I realized that it was time to get ready for class. To be honest I was getting tire during class but I knew I had to be awake and the weird part was that when the class end I could not sleep. My friends were sending me messages about going out to eat since its been weeks when we last saw each other but they were not saying yes or no because we would get off track from the conservation. So I decided to sleep and I set my alarm around 3 PM then the next thing I had about 20 missed calls from them and it was 4 PM then started to get ready, it was funny. We went to eat Cane’s and just hanging out. I went back home and I ended my day with doing homework. -

The Office Coronavirus Meme
This meme resonated with me because it's very true, and it speaks volumes. The reaction of the time traveler would be exactly like the meme because 2020 seems like a terrible year. There are a lot of bad things about it outside of coronavirus, but the coronavirus is the main problem of 2020. I thought it was weird when I realized we were living in history right now, we are on lockdown and I had never imagined anything like this before. This year will be remembered forever, because I guarantee the world won't be the same for a while after this, possibly never the same again. #CSUS #HIST15H -

Corona Office Show Meme
This meme connects to a very funny scene in the show 'The Office'. This meme is poking fun at the executive order that mandates groups of 5 people as the maximum number of people that can be together. Making a joke out of this order might illustrate the lack of severity Americans are viewing the pandemic with. #VART3030 -

Meme from The Office depicts feeling of chaos surrounding CoVid-19
As more places continue to close and residents are urged to stay home, anxiety and a feeling of chaos is rampant
