Prayer Lodge Stops Line 3 Pipeline
Prayer Lodge Stops Line 3 Chaos 7 Natives from 5 nations took direct action to defend our Mother with love and selflessness. Surrounded by people of faith, by allies with strong hearts, we sang, prayed, and sat with our ancestors in an Anishinaabe lodge in the midst of Line 3 destruction. 27 Water Protectors were arrested that day. Afterwards, police cut up the lodge and kenneled, strip searched, and shackled us for misdemeanors. This is Anishinaabe treaty territory — Enbridge is committing trespass, not us. To land defenders everywhere, we stand as one ✊🏽❤️ Support the legal fund here: ProtestLaw.org/Line3 & please find your bravery to stand with us or use your voice to contact President Joe Biden, Gina McCarthy, Deb Haaland to #StopLine3 #ProtectTheSacred #PrayersIntoAction #7thGeneration -

United We Stand & Patriots March for America
Yesterday, several hundred self-proclaimed patriots gathered at the Capital for the United We Stand & Patriots March for America. Throughout the program, speakers condemned Black Lives Matter as a terrorist movement and demanded Gov. Waltz resign for mandating masks to decrease the spread of COVID-19. Speakers included MN House Rep. Jeremy Munson and Rep. Eric Lucero. Throughout the event, there were several verbal and physical exchanges between rally goers and a group of counter protestors in support of Black lives. Two counter protestors were arrested when trying to bypass a State police perimeter for their bicycles. Pro-Trump rally goers cheered-on as multiple police officers piled on the counter protesters for arrest. They are currently being held in police custody with gross misdemeanor charges and likely will not be released until Monday. -

Hundreds, an estimated 600, of fake vaccines were shipped to Hong Kong and internationally by a group led by "Kong". These vaccines consisted of nothing but saline solution or mineral water. It was not the mask
This says that not everyone believes they should wear a mask even if they are more likely to die from the coronavirus, this is important to me because many people believed that the school and officer were wrong for enforcing their policies and even one of the governors started to talk about how the men were useless because they did not intervene in the arrest. *It is a screenshot based on some recent news justified -

4th of July Weekend Sparks Further Protests
As the 4th of July weekend commenced, different sections of the country were split: quarantine, masks, and social distancing for a fairly quiet holiday or continue on with business as usual. In the tweet, we are invited to view what a 4th of July celebration looked like at Mount Rushmore. There were masks amongst protestors, amongst some attendees, and very few from the President's personal entourage. This item was added TAGS v6.1.9.1. I originally searched under the hashtag #rushmore. Within that search, I have chosen to add the following tweet because it touches on the intersection of politics, health, and public protest. 4,000+ Protestors Arrested During Pandemic
Protests have erupted across the U.S. in response to another death of a black man in police custody. The protests have continued for seven straight days and over 4,000 people have been arrested. This creates a larger problem during the time of covid 19. With officials concerned about the spread of the virus within incarcerated populations and releasing inmates early, are they concerned about the thousands they are arresting? Are they keeping those arrested in jail or releasing them? Is the pandemic effecting their choice? -

Florida megachurch pastor arrested for breaching Covid-19 health order
This article is about the arrest of Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne of Hernando County, Florida. The Pastor was arrested for holding two or more large church services after the social-distancing order was put into place. The services had more than 100 attendees who were all in close proximity to each other. Howard-Browne was criticized heavily for being “reckless” and putting many individuals in danger of contracting the virus. The article also states that there are a couple states throughout the United States that have decided to make an exception to the stay-at-home orders for faith and religion. Although Pastor Rodney states that his church was cleaned and all staff were taking precautions it still goes against the Hernando County order of having any gathering be less than ten people.
