Flowers brighten isolation for many during pandemic
A 65-year-old woman collects old flowers from funeral homes, grocery stores, and the like. She then makes bouquets and distributes them to nursing homes, hospitals, and community areas such as libraries and even laundromats. The flowers she delivers brighten people's days, especially in these hard times. -

Finding Beauty in a COVID World: Rabbit in the Grass
There were so many rabbits living around the place where we were staying in Salt Lake. My dog loved to chase them around the yard. I finally captured one sitting right in front of some flowers and knew I had to share this image. Nature is truly beautiful. -

Jewish Melbourne - The Year Without A Garden
I love to garden. And especially our community garden. We started small and watched it grow year by year. The friendships grew too. It was also a place where neighbor's walking their dogs or just out for a stroll could pause, admire the colors and aromas - a bit of peace in an increasingly stressful world. This year, restrictions governing social distancing and community gatherings prohibited us from working on our garden. The pandemic had taken yet another joy from our lives. -

Burchfield Primary School Parent Club Flower Hunt
Parents of local schoolchildren invited city residents to hang paper flowers in their front windows to provide local students at home the opportunity to go on a scavenger hunt while on walks or drives. Similar projects featuring hearts, rainbows, and signs of encouragement were completed around the world. -

CIA Graduation
Image is of an Instagram post by the Culinary Institute of America to their graduates. The picture shows a graduation cap decorated with a black bow, a rhinestone border, and a gum paste roses of various shades of red and pink with gum paste leaves. The cap has the words "Farm to Table! 2019 *CIA*" in white letters. The post states, "Our Graduation Ceremony may be online this year, but you can still get in the spirit and decorate your cap. Tag your designs and we will repost the best ones! #proud2bcia." The Culinary Institue of America has been shut down since March and taken as many of their classes as possible online. No information is provided about the date of the graduation or which degree is being awarded. The CIA has graduations typically every three weeks for Associate degree students and multiple graduations per year for Bachelor's degree students. -

When Cherry Blossoms bloom in DC many visitors take in their beauty. At the same time, their is a tragic irony of the corona virus blooming across the region and the world. The cherries bring the joys of nature,, the virus brings the opposite. -

Flowers in the Trash Cans
One month after the US declared a national emergency, the virus is still spreading rapidly. New York, as a severe area in the United States, has the most diagnosed numbers. Even so, the New Yorkers did not give up hope for a moment. New York florist Lewis Miller, reproduces his iconic street floral, FlowerFlash, on the empty streets of New York in the epidemic, paying tribute to the frontline New York medical staff with the vitality of flowers. Lewis Miller used all kinds of flowers to show the vigorous vitality, just like the hope that New Yorkers never extinguish.
