Quarantine leaves us incomplete
Quarantine was a hard time on us all; it hit most of us out of nowhere and left us locked inside our homes for what an eternity and for most people, they had to spend that time alone. I did not go out a lot during this time so I went online and chose the pictures that I believe best represent what mine and many others felt their quarantine was like. Jose’ Manuel Ballester, a Spanish artist recreated iconic historical paintings and removed the most pivotal part in each of them; the people. Dubbed “Hidden Spaces”, Ballester recreates a series of works in which he is able to present an angle of how the world is like during quarantine. Iconic masterpieces like the Last Supper is left to just an empty table. Ballester is able to show the loneliness and emptiness that quarantine has left people in, by removing the people from the paintings Ballester thus leaving the audience with a certain feeling of discomfort reminiscent of the lack of company and interaction leaves us feeling when we are quarantined and I really resonated with these photos because that is how I felt during this quarantine. -

Spyglass Golf
In may of 2020 I qualified for a major golf tournament at one of the most famous courses in Norcal, Spyglass hill. It was an amazing experience. The only downside was that there had to be modifications to the tournament due to COVID-19. These modifications were nothing major. The most impactful one was the fact that we could not take the pin out of the hole before we putt. It is a strange thing to look at when you are so used to an open hole to roll your ball into. However, my favorite part about any tournament gotta stay the same. The sound of solid contact with a golf ball. I was just thankful to be out on the course and not stuck inside, getting to feel and hear what a pure swing feels like once you make contact directly in the middle of the club face. -

A Few Good People
This is a photograph of a lay out for a bride getting married on July 4, 2020. She began her wedding process with approximately 250 guest and a wedding party of 6 not counting herself and the groom. She is now down to 50 guest, and a wedding party of 3, not counting herself or the groom. She had us move the chairs to a circular pattern around her rather than looking into a void of empty space by leaving them in an aisle. This is a representation of how much COVID-19 has altered plans made by individuals and the thought process that must be applied to rectify them and have some semblance of happiness. -

“Well I feel like its strengthened my faith and my beliefs..."
“Well I feel like its strengthened my faith and my beliefs because we've learned through our readings of the Bible and our studying that the Bible speaks about the end times being similar to what we're facing now and also through this we’ve seen our local assembly... people draw closer to God through this. We've seen people get the Holy Ghost over the phone through this pandemic. We’ve seen a lot of people just really get closer to God during this so I feel like personally for me it's strengthened my faith and my belief in God and it's just shown me that when the Bible speaks of end times it's exactly what we're dealing with going on now.” -

Some churches confront virus restrictions on Easter services
This article is about churches in Georgia, Texas, and New Mexico having to adapt the upcoming Easter services through livestreaming options. However, in some states Governors have determined that church is an “essential” service which would allow Easter services to go on. These churches would use social distancing in order to worship and to avoid the spread of the virus. Moreover, some smaller churches plan to carry services how they normally would without practicing social distancing.
