  PPE as litter

  One of the most frustrating parts of the pandemic is the return to single use items. While we're talking about building back better, people are also using more packaging via online orders and disposable items to avoid sharing. Single use masks are particularly problematic and can be frequently seen on the ground as litter. The strings get caught around birds' legs and cause problems for wildife.

  What was Christmas like for me and my family during COVID-19

  During the month of December, my family I had some very challenging obstacles in the way. One being we couldn't have anyone over for Christmas dinner not only that but have people over in general. Another thing that has to do with not seeing each other is everyone is mailing things and a result of this is packages and gifts not making it on time. Something else to do with packages and mail is manufacturers aren't working because of COVID-19. These are some struggles and problems I had this Christmas.

  how Christmas was different this year

  this Christmas was defiantly different this year. this year I couldn't have my grandma come over. I also I realized this year Christmas is not all about presents and family its about this little baby our savior christ. this year all of our presents were delayed because we were barely getting shipments from china so that slowed down everything. luckily almost all of our packages came but over all it was a great Christmas.

  Quarantine

  I submitted a pile of packages in my room as my photo because with nothing to do and preparing for college, I found myself ordering a lot more items and clothing online than I ever had before in my life. Mostly all of the online stores were also having huge sales, which did not help my shopping addiction especially while I was bored with no where to go and nothing to do.

  Colleague Care Package

  I received a care package from a colleague in my field. It includes snacks, ibuprofen, toilet paper, a positive message, and a craft.

  USPS note left in mailbox

  My apartment complex front office isn’t receiving packages anymore. USPS left this note in the mailbox and I went down to the post office the next day to receive my package (a book from B&N).

  Apartment front office closure

  Office has closed to residents and does not accept packages for residents to the front office. The office has asked residents to make sure that deliveries go directly to our front door.
