This is a poem about how it's hard to know where your news is coming from, and what to believe. -

COVID-19 data diggers — and doubters — call for clearer picture in B.C.
There's a growing push for B.C. to collect and share more detailed data about COVID-19 positive hotspots. Last week, hundreds of parents called on the provincial health officer to divulge more data so that people can make informed decisions as a new wave of infections hits the province. This week, epidemiologists, data analysts and former federal health minister and Toronto doctor Jane Philpott called for "radical transparency" around Canadian COVID data. -

How covid affected my life
At the beginning of quarantine I didn't really take the virus serious.I thought school was only going to close for 2 weeks but its about to be a year since i been to school. Theres really nothing to do out and most places are closed.Theres also not alot of places we can travel to so life has been boring. Most malls are closed so shopping has been hard.Wearing masks all day makes me feel dizzy and makes it hard to breathe. It seems like like any common cold you get is covid. Its hard to do anything without thinking about contracting covid.I also feel like the gorverment is not really telling us the truth which is causing more anxiety and stress on some people. -

Covid-19 in One Word II: Over-exaggerated
This word comes from a college student, a peer leader, and a girl who got those taken away this year. Over-exaggerated: to exaggerate (something) to an excessive degree, specifically a threat, danger, risk or its effect, impact, or importance Capturing this opinion of many, over-exaggerated, is meant to label something that misconstrues the truth by making it seem greater in importance than it actually is. Many people consider not the virus, but the media coverage of it, to be doing just that. It has become difficult to see what is true and what is lies. The line between accuracy and entertainment have become intertwined. In the race to reveal numbers and give advice on safety, rash decisions may have been made in what is put out to the public as news. This news informs a major population, and if it is misrepresenting the truth, that could be a very big issue. Now it is important to understand that there are good and true news sources. There are also sources that do the best with what they are given, which may not be pure truth. In this ever-intensifying war of words, citizens seeking to be informed must often sift through loads of over-exaggerated content to uncover the full truth. The situation of Covid-19 is no different. -

SEARCH
SEARCH is about human life. How we can look back and hear with the ears of our hearts, then and only then, we will understand that Truth is not your truth or my truth, but, THE TRUTH ! Nature will show us the way.
