  Covid-19 story

  From March 2020 to January 2021 I have known 28 people who got the virus. Them getting the virus did not affect me very much other than the fact that it did make me get a little more frightened when people I know got sick. Me and me family have not gotten Covid-19 yet, but I have had to quarantine a few times. Living through this pandemic has been the worst year in my life. I could not see anyone I know and love, I could not go to school, I could not go on vacations of any kind, I had to wear an extremely uncomfortable mask, and there was nothing to do when I was stuck at home. Living through all of this for so long has made me really sad. I am basically just trying to get through one day at a time just waiting for this nightmare to end.

  Covid-19 from what I have heard

  My best friend's family got covid and they told me that it was extremely exaggerated. The mother of the family had it the worst. She said she had to stay in bed for 3 days because of the body aches she had. My friend did not have any symptoms and thank goodness for that. Her little sister had a stomach ake and her head hurt for 2 days. The father had a headache for a few weeks, but he said that it is was bearable.

  School at home Covid styles

  While I was learning at home I had a very simple routine. I would first wake, wash my face, and then brush my teeth. Then get dressed. If I could I would have stayed in my pajamas all day, but my mom told me that I had to get dressed for the day. I worked at a desk that was right next to my bed. I basically stayed in my room all day and did work. In between classes, I would work on assignments that I had not submitted yet. If I was not working I was either on my phone or drawing while listening to music. During lunch, I tried to go outside as much I possible but I was usually too busy to do so.

  The Beginning of Covid-19

  At first, I heard that the virus came from a snake that had been infected by a lab in China. When I heard this I thought that it sounded like something out of a movie. I did not think that the snake story is how it actually started because the virus had just begun and we knew very little about it so how would we have already known how it started. A few weeks later I found out that the virus came from a bat that someone ate in China. As I was discovering new things about the virus it seemed more and more like something out of a movie or a storybook.

  Covid-19 Christmas

  My Christmas was normal in the sense that we were in a pandemic. My family did follow the rules that governor Newsum sent out. We were only supposed to have 5 family members come over, but at my house in California, we had 11. My parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and my cousin with her husband all came over for Christmas. I live in a big house in California so we were the best house to host at. Me and my mom hate hosting so this year was torture. My chocolate labrador, Dania was very excited to have so many people over. The morning of Christmas was very normal. My grandma and my aunt made cinnamon rolls. Making cinnamon rolls is a tradition on Christmas in my family. I am the youngest in the family so I am in charge of handing out all the presents that were under the tree. In my family, we call that job the Elf. That job was a lot of work for me to do all on my own. After we upon all the presents, I helped make lunch. At night we watched the second Wonder Woman. In the middle of the movie, my uncle's mom died of covid-19.
