  The Exotic Influence

  We have reached the point where many Americans are receiving their stimulus checks as an economic relief in response to the hardships Covid-19 has brought upon our economy. Many are getting at least $1200 on their checks and many memes are surfacing with different ways to spend the money (none of which are for the checks intended purpose). This, along with the added popularity of Tiger King made for this quality meme.

  This graph shows the impact Covid-19 has had on stocks. As the virus spread and got worse as time passed you can see the dramatic dip in stocks and its obvious impact on the world economy.

  The CDC recently recommended that everyone wear masks whenever the social distancing rule is not possible. Everyday I see majority or people wearing a mask out of just anything, it really shows the severity of the times and the drastic measures we have to go to.

As a life long local, if you were to tell me in April our beaches will be empty, under any other circumstances I would not have believed it. This really gives us who have been to Myrtle an understanding of the severity of this pandemic.
