  Plague Year

  The Plague Year outbreak started in September 1665. The plague killed 7,165 people in one week. The Great Plague lasted for 18 months. At its worst, in September of 1665, the plague killed 7,165 people in one week. Around September of 1666, the great outbreak ended. The Great Fire of London, which happened on 2-6 September 1666, may have helped end the outbreak by killing many of the rats and fleas who were spreading the plague. The Plague killed an estimated 25 million people, almost a third of the continent's population. The Black Death lingered on for centuries, particularly in cities. Outbreaks included the Great Plague of London (1665-66), in which 70,000 residents died.

  Virtual Learning during Covid-19

  At the start of Covid-19, we had to do virtual learning for the rest of the last semester until now. Online learning was better in my opinion. I liked it better because we got to sleep in, and also we didn't need to get changed into uniforms. But I also liked it because we had more free time right after school ended right at 2:45, but now I only have free time at 3:30 because that is when we get home. I liked it because everything was online and we didn't have to write on a piece of paper and get our hand tired. But I also like seeing my friends in-person school. I like online leaning better than in-person school.

  The Start of Covid-19

  Covid-19 started in December 2019, but we didn't wear any mask until March 2020. Covid-19 began spreading in in Wuhan, China. The animal that started this whole thing was likely a bat. We had to start wearing mask and being quarantined in March. The whole thing make us get a dogs, lake house, and more to come I think. This outbreak made us get closer with out family and friends.

  Covid-19

  Today, I sat at my desk to write about Covid-19. Before this all happened, I was happy at school, until they told us around March 2019, we had to do zoom for about 2 weeks. We did zoom for about 2 weeks and then got some bad news about Covid. We had to stay on zoom for the rest of the year and even for the next year. I was really sad that we had to stay on zoom for about 9 months after. We were also told that we had to stay at our house for a couple of months. So we got all of the snacks we liked before everything shuts down. Everyone was really sad that we couldn't see our friends but a lot of people got new dogs because we were home all the time. Hopefully we get to do everything normal soon.
