Symptoms
Covid-19 has a lot of symptoms that range from common to severe and life threatening. Some common ones consist of: coughing, loss of smell or taste, sore throat, fever and more. A severe one is: blueish lips and face. Coronavirus can be commonly mistaken for a fever or a common cold and anyone showing symptoms should be tested. -

Covid 19 Final Entry - Statistics
Covid-19 has around 20-2,000+ victims a day losing their lives. Around 2,000-10,000+ people are being diagnosed a day. This whole corona virus is a total pain because of all the lives that we have lost as well as everything that has been shut down and re-opened and shut down again. Everyone's lives have changed and their still is no vaccine thoroughly thought through and produced yet. Hopefully everything will be over soon. -

Covid Procedures
Some Covid-19 procedures the we have to follow consist of wearing a mask, stay 6 feet apart from one another, don't leave your house unless necessary. I think that the mask is a good procedure, but some masks are just too heavy and hard to breathe out of. So masks could be lighter but filtered properly. 6 feet apart makes no sense because the virus can jump from person to person farther that 6 feet. For leaving your house unless necessary is just flat out stupid because its a law to always wear a mask and social distance so why do people care if we leave our house. And they wonder why some kids are antisocial. -

Virtual Learning During Covid-19
At the beginning of 8th grade year, we were all virtually doing school which was hard to focus. My room is filled with so many things and it was hard for me to pay attention to the teacher on my screen. My computer had many mental breakdowns from overuse. A benefit is that I got to stay at my house all day, but it was hard to stay focused and engaged. I did not like virtual learning because everything was on the computer rather than on actual paper. I would much rather be in class for learning and school work. -

Cause of Corona
The first thing that I heard this virus to be caused by is from a lab in China. Some other assumptions I heard about were, bats, the black market, not going to church, etc. I actually thought that this would be a month at most and everyone was over-reacting but that was definitely not the case. I think that the virus started at its origin in China, but was spread person by person, country by country until it has become a world wide pandemic. This virus didn't scare me like it should have when it first came around but corona still doesn't scare me. I am not afraid or paranoid, more like cautious. I do be that it came from a lab in China and spread person to person, country to country to become world wide. -

Covid Christmas
Every year at Christmas time, my family spends a LOT of time together and we have parties and spend time with friends. This year was a lot different though, parties were cancelled, masks were worn, things were shut down. Two parties were planned with groups of my friends, both were sadly cancelled and replaced to be on zoom. The first party hosted by Tanner was set up to be on zoom on Friday December 18, 2020. We opened gifts dropped off by Secret Santa and watched our favorite Christmas movie, Elf. The second party hosted by Sophia with all girls was on Monday December 21, 2020. We opened gifts and played around with different zoom backgrounds. When Christmas Eve rolled around, my family went to church like we always do, but this time we had to wear masks the entire time with rows in between each family. On Christmas day we did the same as always, open presents then have brunch with my family. It was different but a very fun time.
