  The Beginning of Covid-19

  There are many stories about how it all began but only one is correct. Although we don't have a confirmed answer about how it started everyone has their theories. In my opinion, I think that Covid-19 started in someone. I believe that someone caught the virus by touching bad bacteria. So, it got into one person now all this virus has to do to stay alive is keep moving from people to people which is exactly what it does. Since everyone is not yet immune to this virus it will just keep spreading, but hopefully, we can help prevent it from spreading. Alright back to the beginning of where this all began. You may be thinking how did the bacteria come to be in the first place, well the bacteria could have started by anything like and bad egg, dirty water, or someone could have even brought it over from another country. I believe that someone brought it over from another country. I think that this makes the most sense because we were not aware of the virus until they gave it to someone in the USA or even in another country.

  Celebrating Christmas during the Pandemic

  This Christmas we had to change some of our traditions. Although it could not all be the same we ended up still having a wonderful Christmas. On Christmas eve we wanted to do something special but everything is closed so we just hang out with each other and then at night we went to a church service. Christmas morning, we really didn't have much planned for Christmas so we decided to head to Mammoth. In the morning we opened up all of our presents and packed our bags and got in the car to go off to Mammoth. Once we got to Mammoth we had a lot of fun skiing. The second night we were there our family friends came up to so we got to have dinner with them and play games. A few days later we went home and that's were our break ended. In all we had a wonderful break but I was also very excited to come back to school.

  Thanksgiving during a pandemic

  This thanksgiving was not like another. For the first time in a while, we spent this THanksgiving under a lockdown due to Covid-19. Although we were locked down my family and I traveled to Florida to visit our grandparents because everything gets worse. Since we traveled it made it feel a little bit more like Thanksgiving but not entirely. We had a lot of delicious food that everyone helped make. Everything tasted so good and I was so full after. After we ate we all sat around and talked for a while. But, my siblings and I had to clean up and do all the dishes because the adult’s job was cooking and we had to clean. Later after some time had passed everyone started to go home, but my siblings and I really wanted to get an early start on the Black Friday deals. We all got in the car and drove to target. When we showed up at target we were shocked to find that it was closed. All the shops had closed early because of the curfew. We all thought this was crazy. Since target was closed we all just decided to go home and go to bed. It was a great Thanksgiving but everything still felt very weird.
