statistics
There have been 97.7 total Covid 19 cases in the world. One of those cases was my uncle. Near thanksgiving he wasn't feeling well so he instinctively got a Covid test. About 2 days later he got a call that said he had the virus. This effected our family greatly. We were all worried sick and were praying that he healed. The funny part was, he said it only felt like a regular cold. He did eventually get better and we were thankful to God. -

symptoms
My REDACTED teacher came down with the covid 19 virus. He said that he had a fever, chills, and felt really sick. So, he went to the doctors office and got tested, he was positive. He called the school and said he couldn't come because he was sick. We were all worried for him but he is doing just fine now. My family has been spared from covid, non of our family members have had it thankfully. -

the rules of covid
I never liked the idea of wearing masks. Everyone would give you dirty looks if you didn't. I still didn't care, if i was to get covid then so be it! Then eventually it was a mandate. To be honest, The covid virus was the least of my concerns. I really am not worried about the virus, and personally hate all the mandates. -

Learning online
Remote learning was not that bad. I got to work with my own comfort. I would wake up, go to class and then at break I would eat breakfast. On breaks I could also watch TV. The only downsides to it was that I couldn't see my friends that much, or if I had a question, it was hard to get to a teacher. I had plenty of good routines that I enjoyed. -

when covid 19 started, Jacob Orozco
when the Covid 19 virus hit, everyone was concerned. Apparently the virus broke out in China and was released to the whole world. There was even talk about shutting down the schools. We watched the news as the virus was spreading from Europe to America. as things got worse they eventually did shut down everything, schools, restaurants, ect. My family even thought of moving to another state. Then when Covid was in its groove, we realized its not as deadly as they portrayed. we all thought that this would be a killer virus as the news was saying. To some people it was very deadly, to some it is not. it was especially deadly to old people. to kids like us, it was as if we got a cold. eventually the news and CDC came out with their lies and said that the virus had a 99.9% survival rate to people with no underlining health conditions. thats when my family knew that there was no point in having everything shut down for a long time. The moral is that it wasn't as deadly or crazy as they said it is, sure, thousands of people died, but is wasn't really and grater that the deaths from the flu. -

Jacob Orozco and his Covid 19 Christmas.
The Christmas of 2020, Covid was still going on. I woke up the morning of Christmas very excited, made myself eggs from a chicken, and bacon from a pic. I also had fresh squeezed orange juice. After that my 3 siblings came downstairs and had some of the breakfast that I had made. Eventually my parents work up and we got started ripping open presents. after that we drove to visit family and exchanged gifts. we had soup and meat from a cow and drove an hour back home. We got up at 8:00 am the next morning and started driving to Lake Tahoe, l beautiful lake in Northern California. we Gott caught in a snowstorm but all was worth it when we finally got there. This Covid Christmas was not that bad. As a family we found ways to make Christmas fun and enjoyable, despite the tough times we were living in.
