  Statistics with COVID

  Living in California during the pandemic was a struggle. With how big the population is and the governor, the entire thing was a mess. First off corona itself took over California with how greatly populated the state was but, our current governor used statistics in a way to shut the state down not in the right way and could not prove what science he was using to shut the state down so, he has to open up the state again since he could not prove any of his statistics.

  Experience With Covid Within the Family and Peers

  I really haven't experienced that much of covid within the family except me getting into close contact and receiving symptoms after. My family has been lucky and no one serious in my family has received covid but, I know many people who have covid and sadly, I know someone who passed away too from it. Even though my family hasn't gotten anything serious yet, we are still very alert and strict on what we can and not do.

  My Experience Of Covid School

  Online school did not start until two weeks after school was canceled in school. My previous school I attended for the first half of school had no idea on what to do so I never really had anything to do or, if I did it was very easy. I never really learned anything during online school but how to join a zoom for the first time. The next school year though, I had zoom everyday in my room. I was very behind thought because I learned nothing the end of last year. Now currently I am in school but covid safe, and is back to learning at a new school.

  How I first Found out about the New Plague

  I first found out about COVID was from my former science teacher. We had been talking about viruses and someone had mentioned the word "coronavirus" well all thought this would just be another virus that would just come and go. We were told that covid initially came from a snake in China and it would never travel to the US and we would be fine. Now my knowledge from what we learned I really don't trust any government with heir telling of the story because each one if different. This experience really has changed me and a person and who I really trust in many things.

  My Covid Christmas

  During Christmas break, cases in corona have been higher than they have ever been in the United States. I was only allowed to hang out with my cousins, (who live coincidently down the street) mostly the entire break. During Christmas my mom has to get creative and plan new things for Christmas Eve. She came up with a little holiday party and had so many fun games! We had secret santa and then went to bed! Even though no other holidays, this one felt real. The happiness and joy inside of me was really there to spread along to my family and I had a very little joyful covid Christmas with my family.

  My COVID-19 Story

  During my COVID-19 Thanksgiving, I only gathered with people I have been in touch before. Thanksgiving that day never felt like a normal Thanksgiving, but it felt forced like we were supposed to act normal and there was not a pandemic. The restrictions for covid were not even allowing us to have family over so technically my family. During the day, I had some fun with my cousins(they live across the street) and had the weirdest Thanksgiving dinner. I could barely gather with anyone and it was very quiet-my family has already been around each other so we really had nothing to talk about much. Overall, I am hoping for change and I do hope people stay at home more to get over this pandemic so we can live we did before this whole situation.
