The Two Seniors

The Two Seniors: one in college, one in high school. The Class of 2020. I was the first to be told my Commencement was cancelled. A couple days later, the other senior's Graduation was cancelled along with her Grad Nite and Senior Activities. As a first generation student, not receiving that validation of finishing secondary education and having loved ones there to celebrate that is disappointing. The other senior deserves to celebrate that milestone of completing high school and walk the stage. At the end of the day, these two seniors are lucky to self-isolate in a safe place and make sure the people with us are safe and healthy during this time.
