  Good use of the gaming table

  Our gaming table, usually used for weekly role-playing games, the vault of our new gaming table has been neglected of late. Last night we decided to make good use of it. Traditionally, my work has a puzzle out to help us clear our heads and step away from the computer for a little while. We're using this puzzle in the same way.

  Ness of Brodgar Dig canceled

  Discovered in 2003, the Ness of Brodgar has been an active archaeological dig site every summer since. This year the dig was canceled due to COVID19 precautions. Being in a low-lying area of Mainland Orkney, the site, like many other sites around the globe, is endangered by sea level changes due to Climate Change.

  State of Arizona employees have been receiving these Risk messages since Gov. Ducey declared a state of emergency. Today was the first day it reached level 4.

  ASU Prepares to start testing

  As Arizona cases begin to rise, Arizona State University makes plans to open testing to on-campus students. The University is recruiting staff and graduate students to complete training and help collect samples from patients.

  Dig season canceled - Ness of Brodgar

  The Ness of Brodgar dig season has been canceled in Orkney, Scotland, United Kingdom. Text of the announcement as follows: Ness 2020 excavation cancelled 20TH MARCH 2020, 11:57 AM We are very sorry to announce that due to the present COVID-19 situation and uncertainties surrounding this, all excavation and fieldwork at the Ness of Brodgar this summer is being cancelled and the site will be shut. We intend however to keep busy by a very active online presence with special features and updates on what we’re doing etc – watch this space also for news of exciting new ways of supporting the Ness. We are also busy bringing together a major interim report on the Ness which will be published in the near future, and working on the material excavated in previous years. We are planning for 2021 and hope to see you then.

  Cheap flights from Phoenix to Seattle!

  Seattle was the first major hot spot of COVID-19 in the United States and continues to have high case reports. Airlines are still flying in and out of the major US airports including Phoenix and Seattle. These prices for March and April are ridiculously low. It's almost as though nobody wants to fly right now.

  Fuel Pump Sanitizer

  This week Circle K installed hand sanitizer and glove dispensers at their pumps. This one was out of gloves but the sanitizer was full.
