COVID-19
I haven’t personally been affected that much by COVID-19. My brother had it in January, before everyone knew what it was, but other than that no one in my family has had it. The way it has affected me the most is with school and sports being canceled. I wasn’t able to see my friends very often and I couldn’t get as much activity. Even with all the bad things that happened because of COVID, there was still some good things. Many people learned new things or got a new hobby. For me it was skateboarding. The COVID quarantine is definitely not fun but there is some good that has come out of it. -

Covid-19 Symptoms
I've heard many different things about Covid-19. I only know one person who got the virus but my family know a few. The person I know said that it wasn't bad. They just had a cough and a fever. I've also heard some other people say that Covid was really bad. As far as I know the main symptoms of Covid are a cough, fever, and runny nose. I haven't met anyone who had Covid and said it was really bad. -

Virtual School
Virtual school was very different than normal school. In the second semester of the 2020 school year, we had to start doing school online. For the rest of that year school was very easy. I woke up five minutes before class and then logged onto zoom, each class was only 30 minutes long. Tests and homework were also easier. Then, after summer, I started going to a new school. It was hard getting used to the new school online. One other thing I didn't like about online school was having to stare at a computer all day. Something I did like about online school was being able to sleep and take long breaks between classes. Overall, I thought online school was much easier but normal school is a lot more fun. -

Covid-19
The first time I heard about the Corona Virus I was on a train with my whole school. A few kids at my school found some people in a car ahead of us wearing masks and started making jokes that they had Covid. At the time I didn't know what the Corona Virus was and all I found out was that it came from China. I didn't think anything of it because it hadn't begun to spread in the US. A few weeks later I was told that it came from bats and I am still not sure if that is true or not. When I first heard about the virus I though it would be just like the flu, I never expected it to spread so rapidly and for school to be cancelled for almost a year. -

Quarantine Christmas
On Christmas day every year my family's cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents come to our house. We would open our gifts and play with them for a while and after a few hour they would all leave. Later that day we go to our other cousins house to eat dinner. Covid-19 didn't have a huge affect on my Christmas but a few things changed. One thing that we couldn't do was have people over, we only had our grandparents over. Other than that, my Christmas was the same as any other year. -

The Start of Covid-19
When I first heard about the Corona virus I didn't think it was a big deal. I thought that scientists would find an antidote and it would go away after a few weeks, but I was very wrong. The first time I realized COVID was a big deal was when school was canceled. At first I thought it was cool, we were gonna get a few weeks off of school, but what i didn't realize was that we would be quarantined for over 10 months. Everything started closing, restaurants, movie theaters, and sports. We switched to online school which was very hard. The school work was easier but many students had no motivation anymore. it was very annoying to have to stare at a screen all day. The Corona virus pandemic was very boring time to live in.
