It'll all come out in the wash.
I've been paying close attention to different aspects of this outbreak. It is clear now that many world governments were aware of COVID in early-mid January at the latest, and opted to allow most of the world to become infected while keeping the whole thing a secret from us. Now, they are acting dumb, inept. Telling us masks don't work? Bullshit. Not locking down in January-February? Bullshit. This was willful allowance of global infection by many nations, while keeping it a secret from most of us for almost two months. There's no way they didn't know what was going on in January - every single allied nation missed this? Every military missed this? Not a chance. They planned in mid-late January through February to allow the spread of this virus. What's happened through all of March was planned, governments knew about this and allowed it. We just got fucked over bigtime. Excuse the French. -

Free lunch for students while schools remain closed
Free lunch contains a turkey sandwich with cheese on a white bread roll, cucumbers, red grapes, fat free milk, carrots, ranch dressing, mayo, and simply Chex strawberry yogurt. The food isn't the most nutritious, but it helps out students who may face food scarcity, and it returns some normalcy for youth accustomed to eating these meals every week day. -

Darkest Before Dawn
Darkest Before Dawn Our world is being ripped apart by a virus, Covid-19, which is causing illness and death. Many are fearful for their own safety, that of their families, their loved ones and for the world’s people. At times we feel helpless in the struggle to return to our old lives but we are not helpless! Inside all of us is an army that can help in the fight. This floral creation symbolises our struggle and hope for a return to health on our planet. In the centre you see Covid-19, spreading its tentacles of disease throughout the world. Standing physically apart but socially joined in a common struggle are the armies inside us. Love (Red Rose) Faith, Hope and Wisdom (Blue Iris) Strength (Gladiolus) Peace and Calm (Lavender) When we all unite our armies we will see the rebirth of a healthy world symbolised by Easter Daisies and a butterfly in flight. Jackie Annable Stage two lockdown. Floral art classes cancelled. -

Petsmart moves pick up orders to curbside
Being an employee of Petsmart, I have seen changes in the way that we operation on a daily basis. One example is how we do online pick up orders. On March 21, 2020, we moved all online pick orders to curb side pick order. Pet parents pull in to the designated parking spot, call the store, and then the associate that was designated the curbside pick up orders for the day, would answer the phone. We must ask for their name and then indicate on the iPad that they have picked up their order. We have started doing this to lower the foot traffic in the store. This is something that not only us as employees have to get use to but the pet parents as well. -

COVID-19 and the Biggest Uprooting of my Life
At this moment my partner and I are packing up our lives because of the COVID 19 pandemic. I think if we weren't both students we would feel a bit less anxious, but now with no work and no income to support ourselves, it's time to minimise and Marie Kondo this tiny unit and move an hour and a half away from our lives here in the South-East suburbs. While I am grateful to be moving away from what could become a more dangerous place to live, I'm remorseful and not really ready to leave my first house. It's quaint and while we are staying at home the garden is enclosed and peaceful. Here's hoping the spread will be slow enough so that we can move before we have issues getting food. Hopefully it doesn't get as bad here as it has in other countries. -
