Pascua Yaqui Tribal Council Establishes Incident Command System
The Pascua Yaqui Tribal Council has declared a tribal emergency and passed a resolution to create an Incident Command System (ICS), comprised of representatives from police, fire, health, IT, and communications. The ICS and has been authorized by the tribal council to communicate directly with the community about information regarding Covid-19. Hualapai Tribe Adopts Temporary Declaration of Emergency and Curfew with Graduated Points of Accountability
To protect tribal citizens, the Hualapai Tribe enforces a Stay at Home Order and curfew. Offense 1: written/verbal warning; Offense 2: $200 fine (non-tribal members to be removed from reservation for 1 year); and Offense 3: up to 30 days of imprisonment and additional fine.
