A photo of Rev. John Restrepo, pastor of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Lakeview, who, when the quarantine started and the church had to close, moved his ministry outdoors. He has come outside most days and continues hearing confessions, talking to parishioners, and offering advice and counsel. Last Monday when I drove by the church, there were four people (at appropriate distances) waiting to speak to Restrepo. In March, the New Orleans Advocate did a piece on him: https://www.nola.com/multimedia/photos/collection_86663b02-6ac5-11ea-84a7-0fae923e109c.html#1

A line of people queue using tape lines on the sidewalk 2 meters apart in front of the LCBO location at the Ottawa Trainyards. Those retail spaces allowed to open are limited in the number of people they can hold at one time to permit physical distancing, meaning any additional shoppers must wait outside for other customers to leave. Despite some backlash liquor stores were listed as essential businesses by the province of Ontario from the beginning of the state of emergency in late March. This was in acknowledgement of that fact that there are those within Ontario society with a physical dependency on alcohol and if their access was restricted it might result in an unnecessary strain on the health care system. Not only would time and resources be used if an individual required medical assistance due to withdrawal, they might also be unnecessarily exposed to the virus while seeking treatment. Some industry services have been limited, however; the Beer Store, the only store which buys back empty bottles, is no longer doing so. This is a blow to those who collect bottles on the street or from recycling bins as an income.

A four panel comic addressing both the distress of isolation while social distancing, the fear that opportunities for socialization are being missing while isolated, and poking fun at the trend of having large, multi-person online video calls. This comic is part of an ongoing autobiographical and comedic series of comics by Dami Lee. As such, the comic also shows how the pandemic has made its way into everyday life and ongoing business and artistic pursuits, creating a wealth of new experiences around which artists may base their work. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-IQb8UAigc/?igshid=14wukruz8k51d *Dami Lee, @dami_lee on instagram*screenshot/ instagram post/ comic*Dami Lee, @dami_lee on instagram

A single panel comic (along with a second identical panel with spanish text which can be found in the accompanying link) promoting staying home early in the outbreak using the internet obsession with pets as motivation. Those with pets have found they have a lot more time to spend with their cats and dogs while working from home or otherwise restricted to their houses. In the case of this specific comic, it is part of an ongoing series about the artist, Gemma, her husband Peli, and their three dogs, Mochi, and the "twinchis" Huey and Duey. The comics focus mainly around Gemma's relationship with Mochi. As such, the comic also shows how the pandemic has made its way into everyday life and ongoing business and artistic pursuits, creating a wealth of new experiences around which artists may base their work. https://www.instagram.com/p/B9rVO77lV7M/?igshid=xk89mgy0mkr2*Gemma Gené, @157ofgemma on instagram*screenshot/ instagram post/ comic

This is some chalk art I created with my younger sister during the beginning of quarantine. Before we were stuck at home 24/7, I never would have thought to just go outside and color the driveway, or at least since I was 10 years old. Since the beginning of quarantine, I, and probably many others, have been seeking fun in lots of new ways. I personally have found myself turning to activities that I would typically do as a child. Although the pandemic has had quite the negative impact on the world, there is definitely some good that has come with it. I feel that many of us, including myself, have found ourselves outside in nature more than we had been before, as we are sort of forced to look for entertainment in different ways since we can’t be around many people at this time. When someone brings up the pandemic, it is usually something negative, so I thought this photo would represent one of the more positive aspects of quarantine.

They say in Vermont, if you don’t like the weather, just wait five minutes for it to change. I haven’t found it true of clouds or rain, but the news is on an hourly refresh: constantly changing, though never for the better. The world’s gone to dog time. Days have telescoped to weeks. Last week feels like a different era entirely, when kids went to school, businesses stayed open, you could grab lunch in town or take the cat to the vet.
After days of pouring over graphs, I could redraw contagion curves from memory, but it all seems strangely theoretical. The number of reported cases in Vermont is still less than a block in Wuhan or Milan. And it’s never that busy here, so the towns look pretty much normal. Nationally and worldwide, the deaths are still lower than the flu, lower than heart disease, lower than car accidents, and yet the trajectories explode like a flushed grouse.
While these fears, statistics, and calculations swoop through my brain, the real birds have returned: lines of geese, honking encouragement as they struggle against the wind; gangs of grackles, blackbirds and starlings descending on our feeders and glistening in the cloudy half-light. We should really bring our feeders in, as the warmth has awakened the bears.
Last year the ground was frozen nearly until May. This year the snow vanished a few days before the pandemic arrived, winter evaporating as quickly as our former lives. My husband and kids, home all the time now, help me rake away last year’s leaves, uncovering bright shoots of daffodils, and yellow and purple crocuses already blooming. Soon the frogs will shout their odes to fertility from every pond, sending out an aural map of still water. Each time I go outside, my spirits lift, just a little, as non-human life goes on the way it always has, and the world tilts slowly toward warmth.

Living through COVID-19 has been a challenge for me a lot of things have changed and gotten way harder for me. I was getting comfortable with staying home. I have found myself and kept giving myself breaks and trying to get my body back to the old me. On Monday it was my birthday it didn't feel like it because everything is closed and we are on lockdown. My family still tried to make that day special for me. On Tuesday I and my family laid a close friend of my brother to rest. It has been a very hard time for my family at this time everyone has been together spending time with each other.
Lately I have been thinking about my future about how it's going to be after COVID-19 because right now COVID-19 has me unsure. After one semester online courses got me so stressed, and confused. It has been a journey this whole time during COVID-19. Things are going good for me then it goes bad right now my granny is in the hospital she has not been feeling well. I want to be with my granny but I can't because of the COVID-19 rules. I have been talking to my granny through the phone. I have been feeling down lately because of my life outside of school. I have been feeling overwhelmed and unmotivated like never before.

I did a podcast based on my journey through the Coronavirus of the struggle I was dealing with my schoolwork. The whole process was complicated, I had some time where I was struggling with being motivated with my schoolwork. But I pushed through it. The podcast was beneficial because I was able to reflect on my day and talk freely about how I feel. Overall, it was a great experience.

You must carefully choose dialogue choices to keep the conversation interesting and the relationship alive as you do your best to not get left on read. Good luck."

Teachers in Fairfield are required to clean out their classrooms with school closure for the remainder of the year. Daycare's are closed and many teachers are forced to bring their children with them to pack up their classroom. This U.S. History classroom is normally full of vibrant students. The distance requirements in the district mandate that educators pre-schedule pack-up times so a limited number of teachers are on campus at a time. Canyon Bell (Pictured) is helping mommy clean. The campus is empty.

Today, Teacher Dana Bell meets with educators at Sem Yeto continuation high-school are meeting to plan for next years WASC visit, a task that can not wait till school resumes. Working from home is a challenge many educators are facing. This meeting was disrupted several times by the participants children and pets.

Numerous floor signs depicting rules for social distancing were observed in the Newcastle, Oklahoma Walmart. Of these floor signs, four different designs were displayed. Each of these signs are focused on alerting customers and directing foot traffic to encourage social distancing during COVID-19. The long blue signs were placed along high foot traffic areas to remind customers of the 6 Foot Social Distancing rules. Other signs were displayed at the ends of aisles directing shoppers to enter (green) on designated ends and exit out (red - do not enter) on the other end. The traffic rules were displayed throughout the store. The smaller blue square signs mark social distancing areas in the checkout sections. This checkout floor signs designate stop points for shoppers to wait at, allowing six feet gaps between each customer. Contributed by Clinton P. A meme shared in a Discord server about how extroverts are having a hard time handling the lockdown while introverts are doing alright. As an introvert my daily life hasn't changed too much aside from not being able to go out and do things occasionally. I don't mind staying at home at all while I have friends who are really struggling without being able to go out and socialize in person.

A Twitter post by user @Sarklor suggesting why we should say we've been 'exiled for the good of the realm' instead of saying we're self-isolating. I think this is a funny way to refer to self-isolation. Use of humor can also be a good way to get people to practice self-isolating when they would rather not. I think it fosters a community surrounding something we're all going through in our own bubbles.
