With COVID-19 forcing numerous businesses across the nation to close, automotive shops such as this one in Wichita, Kansas, remained open during the lockdown, having been declared an "essential business" by Kansas Governor Laura Kelly's administration. Despite being open, local small businesses buckled under the strain of dramatically reduced customer traffic and revenue; a problem that still persists as Kansas, and the country, continue to face COVID-19's devastating physical and economic impacts. This sign along Tyler Road portrays one way that local businesses attempted to survive the economic malaise created by the virus's outbreak. As of May 4, 2020, the official end of Kansas's stay-at-home order, this discount appears to have been discontinued.

Taken near the intersection of Central and Tyler Rd. in west Wichita, Kansas, this sign encourages Kansans to hold fast during the lockdown. At the time, only drive-thru service was available, reflecting the reduced-contact, socially-distanced measures implemented by restaurants to limit the virus's spread.

Description
With stones, sticks, irons and torches, residents of the Subtanjalla district, in Ica, prevented the installation of a shelter for patients with coronavirus within the Coprodeli - San Antonio educational institution, where a clinic was set up which was destroyed by the protesters .
The residents of Subtanjalla learned through local media and social networks that the regional government of Ica was carrying out the coordination for the installation of the shelter for patients with COVID-19 in the aforementioned school. However, they would not have agreed with the provision.
Around 10 o'clock at night, the lack of control took hold of the residents, who burned tires and mattresses not only in the income of the Subtanjalla jurisdiction; but also in different parts of the district. They confronted the agents of the National Police and the Peruvian Air Force (FAP), who had to fire dissuasive shots into the air to disperse the protesters.
“We are not going to allow coronavirus patients to be brought into our district. Do they want us to get it too? Here there are also children and the elderly who are a vulnerable population, ”said a protester.

This picture can be considered a meme, which shows how the things that after being in self-quarantine for a month from a my job, I really took for granted how great it was to help someone out, even if it is helping them out with their drinks. All the things I would complain about, I wish I hadn't as this quarantine had made me miss my job. It relates to the pandemic as it has shifted our world tremendously. These reoccurrences were what was considered normal to me. I only want to be able to help someone out again, being at home hs been a struggle #CSUS #HIST15H

This picture is food for thought, and for a while was pretty popular as it circulated around the internet. This meme is misleading as it implies that outbreaks are "planted" and do not occur naturally. These kind of posts drive more ideas into the brains of civilians that conspire against the government. The meme itself has incorrect information of the years that the outbreaks have been reported, such as SARS being first reported in 2003 and swine flu pandemic was reported in spring 2009. Posts like these are trending on all different social media platforms that are misleading people with wrong information, making them have more hatred for the government. It is interesting to see how much people want to blame the government for outbreaks and create patterns in order to place blame on other human beings, not taking into consideration the biological factors that of the viruses themselves. #CSUS #HIST15H

Covid-19 is spreading like wildfire. Cases are going up like no other and many hospitals are running out of room for patients. Whenever I look outside, I barely see any cars compared to how it used to be. Roads aren’t as busy and many people are staying indoors. I was riding bikes the other day and we passed by a park with caution tape surrounding the whole thing. Due to gyms being closed people are starting to go on runs and trying to keep themselves fit during this tough time. People are definitely not trying to come in contact with other people and if two people are about to cross each other on the same path one goes to the road. A lot of people have been going to hardware stores to get stuff to build so they would have something to do during the day. Many people are starting to make there own gardens so that they could see the flowers growing everyday to give them something to look forward to. Online schooling hasn’t been the best, but you have to do it. I really miss all my friends and I know that I won’t see them till next school year or maybe later. When I first heard about Covid-19 I didn’t think much of it and then it hit Idaho and know 3/4ths of the news is talking about the Coronavirus. I like to watch the videos that have been posted on social media about Covid-19 because they make me feel like we are all going to get through this but we should laugh about it instead of being scared because then you can have hope, and personally I think that is one thing we definitely need.

A selfie of my fresh quarantine buzz cut. I decided to shave my hair off when it became overgrown as a very potent sign that I will not be going to get a hair cut until it is actually safe to do so, not just safe for me as the consumer but safe for people whose job it is to cut hair. There is a lot of tension in the US at this time between people who feel that we need to open up the economy in order to facilitate a speedy return of the status quo and those who argue that it is not worth losing more lives to save the economy. I wanted it to be visually clear that I do not intend to endanger someone else or be part of their having to choose between financial ruin and physical illness simply for the sake of my own vanity.
