I saw this ad in our local paper on the first Saturday after the toughest social distancing restrictions were announced with gatherings in public of more than two people prohibited. I felt this was a very poignant press ad placed by a well-known, sturdy, enduring, local brand. It empathised with the public as well as encouraging support for the distancing measures.

I’m a study-abroad student. Due to the virus, I had to stay in New York. I got the update of the virus through Chinese social media, and I think it is really interesting. I’m going to share some posts from Chinese social media about the virus.
As the most serious affected city, New York no longer being chaos. Citizens all stay at home and keep the social distancing. In the meantime, some of them figure out the way to relax. The boy sits on the roof, holding the guitar quietly, enjoy the blowing the wind, feeling the silent city, completely immersed in his own music world.

This is an article on the Niagara Frontier Publications website discussing the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on college students. This article discusses many of the struggles that college students are facing. This article is significant to me because it lists many of the struggles that I am facing as a college student. One of the challenges I am facing is the uncertainty of everything, and not knowing whether my education may be affected in the future. It is difficult to enroll in classes for the next semester without knowing whether they will be online or on campus. #CSUS #HIST15H

This photo was taken at the beginning of COVID before it was mandatory to wear a mask. Thus, the bus driver being a non-masker. Nonetheless, he got off the bus to tell the elderly she COULD NOT get on the bus from the front. She was worried because the other two entrances were too high for her. He offered to lift her but she insisted on getting on from the front door. He eventually pulled off without her.

This is the wait line for prescription pickup at the Luke AFB Pharmacy. The total wait time estimated around 40 minutes in the sun on a day where the temperature was above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This line was created by the pharmacy to account for six feet social distancing with people in their cars to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19.

I cannot believe how badly this picture aged. This was taken the day that Fordham cancelled classes due to COVID-19. We all gathered on the green and threw a party to celebrate being out of school. Now all we do it sit at home and be sad about it. In a way it was a nice happy way to say goodbye, but in another way it was very ignorant to the reality of the situation.

Everyone talks about how business is impacted, responders are impacted...But one of our most vulnerable resources, kids, are also being affected.

During the pandemic, Mikayla Hopkins was studying abroad at the Suffolk University's Madrid Campus. Once the campus decided to close, she chose to stay in Madrid with a host family until the semester ended. Here she can be seen with her host mom and sister, doing Zumba by watching a YouTube video. Every day at 7 PM Mikayla, her host family and some of her host mom's friends via Zoom would video call one another and do Zumba together as a form of exercise since we can't go outside. We have been doing it every day for a month and a half.

The image was taken nearside the busy streets of late-night Las Vegas, the Friday when ASU’s spring break initially started. However, to describe this image would be to pinpoint a moment in time where a large group of people have gathered together to enjoy a night in Vegas with no fear of keeping their distance. When I took this photo the majority of people and community seemed to flourish both economically and socially. This image reflects a distinct contrast of how people are socializing under the current circumstances as of now. Nevertheless, this picture was taken because a few friends and I planned on going to Vegas as a spring break trip, as a result this image embodies a typical social and eventful night in Las Vegas, where many people gathered in their own activities while still at a close distance. Thus, what this image tells us about the pandemic is how quickly social and societal norms could abruptly change in a few months of time. What this image also says about the pandemic is how even though social fear is heavily sensed, there were and will be more moments when we will all come together and enjoy each other’s company once again. As a result, this image serves as a reminder that we will all overcome this predicament together and come back as a collective community to not only live, but thrive. Essentially, what this image tells us about this pandemic as well is that even though under strict social distancing we should all still take part in the views and activities that make us happy, even if we have to be a little more creative in how we take part in such functions.
*This item is a self-taken photograph that was enhanced with camera settings to make the image appear lighter and the colors to stand out more vibrantly.

Due to COVID19 it has caused me to not only be away from my family. As well as had to miss out on huge milestones in their life. From graduation to college acceptance. To even be able to be around them in time as frustrating as these.
When COVID19 hit I was unable to visit my family who lives in another country. I am unable to be able to have the luxury to fly and see them when I need them. This was the last picture I was able to take with all my family the last time I went to see them. In most cases I hope it is never the last. This pandemic has really put it into perspective that I might not be able to be with them in such a moment in time like I was in this one. it also reminds me that I miss them very much and can't wait to see them and huge them so very soon.

I felt God’s power and holiness, and most importantly His goodness that gave me hope. The uncertainty, fear, restless, and helplessness seemed to lift and I saw the hope come shining through the heavy clouds.

Midway through the quarantine it felt like everyone hit their stride with finding and logging their passions. Each of us became prolific in our own right
Early April, when the first of us reached our apex and we realized it would be a lot longer than we’d anticipated.
