COVID-19 Happenings
This is an image of a sign that says stay six feet apart. This "six feet apart" phrase was created because of the CDC guidelines that if you stay six feet apart from another person you are "safe" from contracting COVID-19. -

rules and procedures
Back when covid started in spring we really didn’t need to do anything but when it entered the US people started saying that wearing a mask will slow the spread but others said it didn’t work. Then they proved it worked and then everyone needed to wear them they also said staying 6 feet will protect you. Then the closed schools and some work. As covid climed they said large gatherings had to stop and told people to stay at home. They closed restreants for a while and then made it pick up only. The only rules that effected me was the stay at home orders because I couldn’t see my friends although I just quarinteaned in my naborhood and hung with everyone there. The mask effected me only when I left my naborhood. It was very wired with all these rules but it slowed the spread. -

COVID Procedures and Rules
During the COVID 19 Pandemic, we have had to follow many new rules and protocols. For example, we have to wear a mask at school, we have to wash our desk of before class and after, we can't use the cafe, we have to use hand-sanitizer before and after class, we have to stay 6 feet apart at lunch and break, and much more. I feel that most of the rules/procedures are useful and make a difference in not spreading the corona virus. I think wearing a mask is very uncomfortable and doesn't due much but I still wear one a stay as safe as possible. Although they are not fun to do, they make a big difference and allow us the keep school open and not spread COVID 19. -

COVID Cant Stop Us
COVID-19 has affected the entire world and continues to create a separation between humanity as we are confined into our homes and spaces the exist 6ft away from human contact. But this pandemic did not bring the demise to the inhumane, inequal, racist treatment that people face daily. You would think that in a time of need that people would band together and rise above such actions. But, the pandemic did not stop us from using our voices to fight for Black lives and justice for all people in America. As people pooled together to rise above racism and inequality. The collection of pictures, in this post, is so intriguing as you can still see everyone at these protests maintaining a distance of 6 feet and wearing masks to protect others. It seems so powerful that through all the hate and social injustice that everyone could mass together to show care and love back into the world. These images are so important to the history of COVID as it shows how much it impacted the people in these images, but didn't stop an even GREATER movement in history. -

United We Stand--Six Feet Apart
As the threat of COVID-19 drew closer to home a few local retail businesses in Kentucky have responded through social media by producing topical merchandise designs such as this one. A play on the state slogan “united we stand, divided we fall” it is a nod to the social distancing rule of keeping six feet apart. It is also a humorous re-imagining of Kentucky’s state flag design, which usually reads “Commonwealth of Kentucky” instead of “Commonhealth of Kentucky” and normally features the two figures seen in the center of the image shaking hands. In this image, however, they stand like the rest of us, being in each other’s company from a distance. #DePaulHST391 -
